FrannyandZooey · 25/09/2006 21:02

Layering on top is bad news for me

(big rib cage and no arse)

I need very simple fitted dark stuff on top, or can do a vest and cardy type thing

How are you at finding lingerie, cod? I need assistance

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 25/09/2006 21:03

hmm can do large norks
the toehr stuff makes me

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 25/09/2006 21:03

here too
ont he gap site there also hig nekced tank tops whic h i thnnk are gret for no norkers

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 25/09/2006 21:04

you seee f and z if oyu haev a large chest then cardigans ( ime) make me feel like les dawson - all kind of buttoned up. oyu could do a audrey hepburn twinset thing
( do oyu knwo they have cashemere in tesoc?)

FrannyandZooey · 25/09/2006 21:05

Ok I will not ask you then (anyone being jealous of my norks is a rare day indeed)

I liked the first link a lot, haven't seen that slouchy loose sort. Think the second one is hideous.

FrannyandZooey · 25/09/2006 21:07

Ah, I have no breasts to speak of, just a large ribcage (well 1 size larger than my bum)

Somehow the cardy and vest thing looks ok for me, if the cardy is open. The main thing is to disguise the fact I have no waist, as I have quite nice shoulders and collarbones etc

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 25/09/2006 21:08

aha a great plaoins tank top

Joolstoo · 25/09/2006 21:09

tank tops remind me of 1950's schoolboys (yes I do remember them )

MrsSpoon · 25/09/2006 21:09

I tried a tanktop last year from Next and thought it looked horrendous on me, perhaps I had the same problem as F&Z, as I am a bit square about the waist. I like the look of them so pleased to see so many think they are good with ample norkage, I may try another one.

FrannyandZooey · 25/09/2006 21:13

Maybe it was just a crap cut MrsSpoon, it was certainly cheap, maybe it was nasty as well

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 25/09/2006 21:13

yes all of the next ones seem to be " mock" ones
i htnk you also need a bigger size to layer ( or thats my rule of nork)

MrsSpoon · 25/09/2006 21:25

I quite like the mock stuff as it means I don't have to worry about an uncomfortable shirt underneath that won't button at the norks despite fitting everywhere else.

Twirl · 25/09/2006 21:45

I have just bought a fab biscuit colour tank top from monsoon with a scoop neck which I think is great with big norks...it isn't on their website though so can't show you

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 26/09/2006 09:03

ooh ta!

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 26/09/2006 09:06

\link{http://www.monsoon.co.uk/invt/83205731hers a mock one}

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 26/09/2006 09:08

mock one

maycontainstress · 26/09/2006 10:15

Ooh, I'm all about tank tops. I love them! I got some fab ones from George for a couple of quid and worn over a white shirt or long sleeved round necked white t-shirt they actually give the illusion that I have boobs. Hallelujah, I'm never wearing anything else.
