One plain black and one with red and black and white stripes.

Drusilla · 31/08/2006 14:27

Am confused about what to wear under tank top? Roundneck? Am tall with no norks.

bundle · 31/08/2006 14:28

where from idris?

MrsBadger · 31/08/2006 14:30

if no norks crewneck longsleeve t will work

shirt good on any size norks

IdrisTheDragon · 31/08/2006 14:32

From Tesco (so not wool, obviously, but I am happt ).

Kelly1978 · 31/08/2006 14:35

i got two from next last year. one is babyu pink and the other is patterned chocolate and other colours. They aren't taht comfortable though. I find that the shirts seem to ride up under them. I p[ersonally wouldn't wear thm with a round neck top under. I've ordered a couple of shirts from laredoute whcih are sup[posed to have mroe give in them. The ones I have are jaeger and very fitted.

I struggle with the notion of tank tops being a 70's kid. I have a junior school photo of me in a red nylon polo neck with a red/black/yellow tank top combo. Why, Why, WHY? I need therapy before I can wear a tank top I think.

they're in and out like a fiddler's elbow.

CheesyFeet · 31/08/2006 14:44

Can a tt look good on a big norked woman?

Or should I just Not Go There?

Astrophe · 31/08/2006 14:46

aahh! See, i would have called that a vest, but there you go. Are they in are they? My Grandpa used to wear one.

bakedpotato · 31/08/2006 14:50

I know I saw nice tanktops in La Redoubte a few weeks ago, now can't find them anywhere

i got 2 of johnny's tts last year, in brown and black -- and in sale

[smuggety smug]

i have norks and prob look awful in them though.

Gobbledigook · 31/08/2006 14:51

Malory - you just described my winter outfit to a T!! Ha ha! I'm sooooo boring!

motherinferior · 31/08/2006 14:52

oh nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

southeastastra · 31/08/2006 14:53

we wore huge flyaway collars with ours in the 70s

IdrisTheDragon · 31/08/2006 14:55

I have small norks which is useful in this case. They cost £5 (black) and £10 (stripy)

marthamoo · 31/08/2006 14:55

My gut reaction to the thought of a tank top is nooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Too many horrid memories of hand knitted ones in garish colours in the 70s (which I would probably love now for ds2).

IdrisTheDragon · 31/08/2006 14:57

(prices referring to already mentioned tank tops rather than my norks )
