I'm not over summer stuff but nothing in the shops is exciting me because it's all the wrong sort of colours for me. I did buy a Captain America sweatshirt though Grin

Decameron · 26/05/2014 22:58

I have to watch/listen to Frozen multiple times a day, One! My two little girls are obsessed. I'm glad your BIL is holding his own.

Will check it out, Linus! I love my Burberry bag, want more Burberry (need to save).

Not done with summer, I'm going to buy a couple more day dresses (well, if the weather picks up) and a swimsuit in the June sales, I have thrown most of mine away. Then moving on to AW. Smile

Decameron · 26/05/2014 22:59

Toronto is a cool city, I think you'll like it. We almost moved there from NY.

santamarianovella · 26/05/2014 23:06

Noooooo! Nooooo!,non. I'm not over, not me.. just started,I got rid of most of my summer clothes, and I'm rebuilding, its a very long and complicated process, still need couple of tops,shorts,dress...blah blah,

Well done amber the only way I would've completed 10k race would be if a cartier double love bracelet and Henry cavill were waiting for me at the finish line,

Hope all is ok one ,with your bil l saw a girl wearing a Star Wars blue tee the other day, thought of you Smile

OneLittleLady · 26/05/2014 23:11

decam I haven't seen frozen yet but DN is insisting I see it before florida as she wants us to see the princesses with her. Second on her list is taking me on the Star Wars ride as she loves the original trilogy Grin

Summer dress for Shop

Decameron · 26/05/2014 23:19

I'm quite the Frozen fan myself. Let me know what you think, One!

BrandyAlexander · 26/05/2014 23:46

We had a lovely, lovely weekend. Being able to do nice things for my family makes me so happy and spending time with them makes me even happier.Smile dsis is doing really well.

Glad to hear bil doing well and about your exciting travel news, One.

I am not really excited about this season at all. I think I bought some lovely things last summer, especially for work so keen to wear those again this year. My casual wardrobe for spring still needs a lot of work though!

Shop which L'Occitaine hand cream do you want? I have the Shea butter mini tube in my handbag. It's lush.

Drywhiteplease · 27/05/2014 07:50

I love Frozen! Decam have you spotted the giprincess from Tangled in the film, it's a "Disney secret", your dcs will spend hours trying to spot her...........

Turquoiseblue · 27/05/2014 08:13

I m not done with summer either .... Need a few t shirts (grey, white) and tank tops,
Need a summer throw on dress-(may try your one DP one dry) last summer i got rid of lots as they were fraying and worn. Oh and there s a skirt I like too.
Last winter my boots and needed replacing. Replaced the coat but couldn't find boots I liked, so I ll be on a boot hunt shortly...(maybe 50/50's). But I m not thinking about that yet.
Also waiting for ASOs to process my return......and the sales.

QueenCadbury · 27/05/2014 08:21

Just you and me then dry! Although I agree with you about the weather. It would be nice to wear my tops without a cardigan or fleece.

I love frozen but I don't love my dc singing let it go at the top of their voices every day Hmm. Little dd especially loves it but unfortunately all frozen toys/merchandise have pretty much sold out.

Off to the Isle of Wight today. Dc are very excited to be taking our car onto a big boat. Just trying to ignore the weather forecast that says rain. Looks like I need the fleece and waterproof again today. Impossible to look stylish in this sort of weather!

one glad BIL is doing ok. So excited for you for Florida.

Decameron · 27/05/2014 08:48

No, Dry, I will tell them! They are actually watching Tangled now singing Mother Knows Best! I managed to get them the Frozen dolls in Disney on Oxford Street recently, QueenC. Enjoy the Isle of Wight.

I still want 50/50s too, Turq. I'm going to put myself on a shopping ban after June for money for autumn (that'll go I'm sure well Hmm) I bought white and grey t shirts from Hush and they are a good fit, nice cotton. Also like the J Crew vintage ts.

AmberNectarine · 27/05/2014 09:13

Thanks for the memory jog guys, have just ordered an Anna doll from the Disney website for DD's birthday. I've had it personalised as well - she will LOVE that!

shopafrolic · 27/05/2014 09:18

this is the cream Novice. Really pleased to hear that Dsis is doing well - great news.
One glad BIL is fighting hard.
Glad people are still thinking summer purchases. I didn't want to be alone :)
Our lovely friends who have invited us to Provence have sent us a gift this morning - A DVD of the Good Year with Russell Crowe to get us excited for our trip. :)
Liberty do you think I could pull that dress off? Not sure if it makes the model look wide across the top? I like the idea of silk for the heat though......

The weather is horrible!!!! Stood on train platform wearing a brown Hobbs dress over pink stripe Zara shirt with brown matching jacket. All under my £39 M&S mac and with my Aqua italia brown knee highs. I feel like is OctoberShock. The suit and Zara shirt are years old but it's a good combo. I have got the accessories all wrong though - total mismatch that doesn't go so think I will take off bracelet as I want to keep wearing the ring I linked the other day. Clearly a weekend at CP has affected my ability to get dressed properly!!!

BrandyAlexander · 27/05/2014 09:23

Okay got it Shop. my PA is booking the trip today, don't forget to remind me on the day, we all know I have a memory like a sieveBlush

shopafrolic · 27/05/2014 09:30

Have you been paid yet Marsha? Loads more Marant you know where today....

Stokey · 27/05/2014 09:31

Lol Novice at CP affecting dress style.

Have asked DM to bring Elsa & Anna dolls for the DDs when she visits from Australia in July, but maybe I should source them for her?

I haven't really started summer shopping but need to prioritise again. I think at this stage I'm best off waiting for the sales.

My best summer-ish buy so far this year has been this J-Crew tee in the dark red - have worn it loads.

Love the yellow Zara jacket Dry, have been eying it up for months but the rain is stopping me wearing my cream one so don't think I can justify a yellow one too. The frayed ones look good on the website but are a bit raggedy in RL Fedup

Suspect what I actually need is a red Burberry Mac like Linus but got to pay for my 40th this month so money is a bit tight.

MarshaBrady · 27/05/2014 09:57

Shop yes I did! Felt like ages. I haven't bought anything for this season yet really.

So I just ordered the Cutler and Gross sunnies I had my eye on. Bit exxy, but I've wanted some for ages. If they are not perfect on me I will send them back.

Also everything else I'm getting is everyday stuff at 50%-70% off from here on in.

libertychick · 27/05/2014 10:45

Great sunnies Marsha

Shop I liked the fact the dress is silk and I thought the colours are right for you. It would need to be tried on to see how the shape works. Personally I like things that widen my shoulders as it helps to balance out hips but then you don't have that problem!

Very wet day where I am - going to a really lovely pub for lunch so getting excited about that Smile. In trackies ATM but will change into 7FAM skinnies and oversized cotton and silk Cos black button back top. Will have to be grey leather converse on feet as too wet to step out in M&S silver slingbacks.

I want new boots for winter too - ankle boots and maybe knee length. Will hang on for winter sales I think....long way off!

MarshaBrady · 27/05/2014 10:50

Thanks Liberty, boots for AW sound good especially when I look out the window!

I also got this Marant belt to try.

I am actually replacing stuff in my wardrobe that has fallen apart. The Miu Miu sunnies I had got caught in the door and broke, not to mention they had been dragged across the pavement and were scratched to hell. The Bruno belt I had had holes and I had to throw it out.

I now need to get cheapish tshirts as loads are tatty.

shopafrolic · 27/05/2014 10:55

Love the sunnies Marsha

Decam ...right! I'll tell you the secret.....Rapunzel(with her new short haircut) and Flynn Rider/Ryder walk into the Frozen castle when the doors are opened after years of being closed to anyone. It's very quick, you need to use the pause button......maybe Youtube it first. It's a great game. Kids love it. There's also one in Finding Nemo too and one in Tangled.

MarshaBrady · 27/05/2014 11:03

Ok I swapped the belt for this one.

The oval on the other one looked a bit big and I preferred the price of the second even more.

AmberNectarine · 27/05/2014 11:26

Prefer the second one for you marsha - had to sit on my hands at all the lovely T by A Wang stuff on the outnet. Must be good after the baby Rocco.
