Boots - launching a new super product

Does anyone know what it is?

I've had a £5 voucher off and apparently there's a big TV launch and lots of adverts.

Does anyone have any inside info?

Bloody daily mail leaking info! 'tis very good stuff. The advert will be on tomorrow's ITV news at ten in the break (the only advert shown)

polyhymnia · 12/05/2014 12:57

I imagine that, far from being a real leak, this favourable write-up was planted by the Boots PRs. Great free publicity.

Dunno really Pash, I smeared it enthusiastically on my twentysomething face and surprisingly enough, it did nothing to erase my then-non-existent signs of aging Blush

Forgettable · 12/05/2014 13:54

Superpash the answer is yes, it was and is a brilliant product

Forgettable · 12/05/2014 13:55

Hahahahah at x posts

I was hoping for airbrushing in an aersol. One spray and you're sort of blurry and indistinct and overlit and not at all wrinkly.

I have used Protect and Perfect serum since it came out- am 45 and pretty much wrinkle-less. Not sure how much is to do with the stuff and how much to do with beng fat. That fills out the wrinkles quite effectively.

I find poking everyone else in the eye acheives the same effect.

LoveVintage · 12/05/2014 16:25

That is how I am when I look in the mirror without my glasses on.

WaitMonkey · 12/05/2014 16:35

Spermy serum. Shock Envy

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/05/2014 18:19

This one is nearly £25 worth of spermy (£20 with voucher)

I'm meh.

talulahbelle · 12/05/2014 19:46

pash I've been using protect and perfect ever since... and look my age. Still, it's cheaper than some brands.

FluffyDucky · 13/05/2014 21:43

Check out www.no7serum.co.uk for more details and the full ad (which is lovely)

HollyBollyBooBoo · 13/05/2014 21:56

Very excited! Double the strength of P&P apparently!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/05/2014 17:17

Anyone bought it today?

(I forgot my voucher Hmm but I might have a look on Friday)

There's 2 strengths + a pump bottle.
Need to see which is which for my rather middle aged skin.

SauceForTheGander · 14/05/2014 17:41

I think I'm alone on this but I hated the TV ad - is there a better version? It was the emotional version of "here come the girls" .

Crutchlow35 · 14/05/2014 18:25

And I don't believe for one minute the testers had no access to a mirror for an entire month. Even going round the supermarket there are mirrors.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 14/05/2014 18:33

Used to use P&P and then the one for older ladies, but gave up as became too pricey and they did not make any real difference.

I thought none of these creams could sink into a deep enough layer in the skin to actually make any real lasting difference.

So I am back to nivea pure and simple which is about 4 quid and does the job.

The only No 7 product I really think is good is the Airbrush away - that does work!

Floisme · 14/05/2014 18:43

Another one here who is Hmm by the idea that a cream can penetrate down below your skin and into your cells. I mean why do we bother taking pills or having injections if slapping on cream is so effective?

I thought the advert was pretty compelling, actually. All this hype goes a long way.

I use P&P already, but I'd be up for some double strength stuff if it makes me as happy as the ladies in the advert (and isn't double the price....).

Bumping this thread- now it's been in store for a month, anyone seen astounding improvements with the new Perform/Perfect?
