Boots - launching a new super product

Does anyone know what it is?

I've had a £5 voucher off and apparently there's a big TV launch and lots of adverts.

Does anyone have any inside info?

Is it like, a BB cream. With 6 uses instead of 5.

I just don't get BB cream. Who uses it and loves it?

Samedaydifferentusername · 11/05/2014 20:35

Love the boots botanic b&b cream, makes my skin look lovely. 'Twas a recommendation from this board (like everything I buy).

No idea about the boots product!

Samedaydifferentusername · 11/05/2014 20:36

Stupid auto correct, should be BB cream not bed and breakfast cream! Grin

Housewife2010 · 11/05/2014 20:53

AHA Balm?

laracroft2001 · 11/05/2014 20:57

Hex- what did your voucher say?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/05/2014 21:34

I have one - it says "Get ready for something amazing" and £5 voucher date Wed -Sun (from the 15th)

laracroft2001 · 11/05/2014 21:59

Very intriguing!!

bloomingheather · 11/05/2014 22:09

I think it also says "ta da!" so maybe it's like someone mentioned above, a 'blurring' or smoothing thing that makes you 'camera ready' or something. Or maybe I'm over thinking this….

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/05/2014 22:11

There are 7 items in the "What's New" section.
Maybe a set of trial sized products from the new range (like the Advent Calender idea but for summer ? )

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/05/2014 22:12

Oh, and my voucher has the letter "C" or something (or it might be a rogue scribble)
Does that mean I'm a "C" Lister (so I'll get spot cream or something in my Ta Da )

TiaDalma · 11/05/2014 22:29

Spot cream in your ta da doesn't sound much fun...

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/05/2014 22:42

No7 Perfect that's like sperm doesn't figure in my Ta Da either Blush

GingerLemonTea · 12/05/2014 06:58

MrsDavidBowie · 12/05/2014 07:01

I think this one is "advanced" intense ....

Lizzylou · 12/05/2014 07:20

Quite the anticlimax then.
I thought it was spermy too Sauce.

Forgettable · 12/05/2014 07:53

Meh

Fideline987654321 · 12/05/2014 08:01

I thought it was spermy too Sauce.

Yay ! Not just me!

I was trying to hunt out an old tube I had to do a blob test. If there's ever a sign you need to step away from mumsnet it's when you're considering posting a picture of a cream to discuss if it looks like sperm.

semolinaandgratedchocolate · 12/05/2014 10:17

Is their website completely broken? I keep getting error messages. I wasn't looking for any new product just a normal order!

semolinaandgratedchocolate · 12/05/2014 10:28

I had nearly £50 worth of stuff in my basket and I can't get to the basket any more at all even to see it - I just get errors. I wouldn't even mind if I had to re-add all the things, but even that doesn't work! I've logged out, cleared cookies, restarted the browser - everything - and it's been like this since last night.

Perhaps they're so busy launching the new no. 7 spermywrinklicide(TM) that they've forgotten they need to keep the fundamentals of their website working!

Gen35 · 12/05/2014 10:51

Ok I'll admit, I'm also excited to see what this is. I also thought the protect and perfect was spermy and didn't feel nice...

squoosh · 12/05/2014 10:52

I won't be buying, never been impressed with No 7 serums. That Horizon programme gave them an almighty sales boost that they've rightly capitalised on ever since, but it does nothing for me.
