Good legs, flabby tum, muffin top, bingo wings.

Love chinos, never found a pair that fit though! But really need help styling the top half, I live in V neck jumpers.

Classic dresser, 36 fave colour black Grin dark hair, cool fair skin blue eyes..

Can someone help me please?

MrsCampbellBlack

My DH had a locker broken into at a David Lloyd health club. I don't think football tops and stealing go together. Im not sure the two phenomena were being linked were they?
Stuff seems to get nicked anywhere. Except Disneyland. But that's because of the Fairies.

burnishedsilver · 20/04/2014 10:41

Wow. A lot of chips on shoulders on this thread.

Pagwatch · 20/04/2014 10:45

I think chips on shoulders might help balance an apple but to be honest burnishedsilver I think the smell and the sogginess would make them a style no-no.

Mintyy · 20/04/2014 10:47

Actual lol at this thread!

Bowlersarm · 20/04/2014 10:48

Grin @ Pag. I spluttered my coffee with your first comment. (And believe you be quite correct, in my experience. Was a good holiday though)

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/04/2014 11:40

Pagwatch - I just thought your comment was unnecessary and raining on the OP's parade hence my comments.

And I do find it amusing that you're trying to now suggest I'm the one being a twat about football shirts. And I don't think I suggested that people in football shirts are thieves.

Bemused by this thread to be honest.

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/04/2014 11:42

Sorry - I seem to be suffering from a sense of humour failure. Goes back to cooking lunch.

JohnFarleysRuskin · 20/04/2014 11:47

It depends which cps you go too.

Longleat- nice floaty stuff.

Elvedon - footy tops and robber outfits.
(I live near/go to elvedon)

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/04/2014 11:50

I've only been to the longleat one and that was only for the day to be fair.

Pagwatch · 20/04/2014 11:51

I'm sorry MrsCampbellBlack.
I did apologise upthread for my post yesterday. And I wasn't trying to suggest you were being a twat about football shirts, genuinely. I was rather trying to say that just because I experienced a place full of football shirts does not mean I thought it was full of thieves. That idea wouldn't cross my mind.
I'm seem to be expressing myself poorly.

I do think it's entirely possible to laugh at the thread without being a twat.

Pagwatch · 20/04/2014 11:52

Grin at 'I'm seem to be expressing myself poorly'

Twat.

Bowlersarm · 20/04/2014 11:55

Style and Beauty seems to be a very serious topic. Do all the threads in here take themselves so seriously?

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/04/2014 11:58

God, I've overcooked my lamb - now that is serious.

Sorry pagwatch - I was being over-sensitive.

And Bowlersarm - this is nothing, start a thread about buying an expensive handbag or HOC and see how serious it gets. Wink

JohnFarleysRuskin · 20/04/2014 11:58

This is light hearted. You should see it when a pear packs for pontins.

Pagwatch · 20/04/2014 12:00

Thanks MrsCB Smile

Yy Bowlersarm - start an 'I have £1,500 for a new handbag. Prada or Chanel' thread and....kaboom !

Or leggings. Start one about leggings..

Grin
Pagwatch · 20/04/2014 12:01

Grin @ pear packs for pontins debacle.

MarshaBrady · 20/04/2014 12:01

lol at JohnF

Bowlersarm · 20/04/2014 12:02

You should see it when a pear packs for pontins Easter Grin

Thank you, JohnFarley, that's made my day.

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/04/2014 12:05

Or white trousers.

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 20/04/2014 14:05

I actually know someone who had their buggy stole at CP! Outside the pool.

Aside from that, wear what you want and enjoy it.Shock horror,I holiday with ds at Haven every year which is also expensive (paid over 2 grand for 2 weeks) and not chavvy as people seem to think and people tend to dress normally-maxi dresses, nice tops, skirts etc etc I love packing as feel more free to wear what I want on holiday.

Just remember the practical bits, they're important (for once!)

MrsEboJones76 · 20/04/2014 16:47

The first time we went to Center Parcs with the kids, I took some smart clothes and we looked like wedding guests Blush It is very casual, even in the evenings.
I now take jeans, chinos and joggers (for sport activities)
I take plain Ts, breton tops and a sweatshirt
I take a decent waterproof coat, wellies (depending on time of year), converse, uggs and flipflops (again depending on the time of year).
We love it there and I love the fact I don't have to think about what I am wearing.

Tiggywinklespinny · 21/04/2014 04:23

Morning!

We're off to longleat..reading all replies I've decided to pack in my Louis Vuitton luggage, Pucci leggings, Prada jacket just incase it rains, Gucci Cashmere and shoes, Ralph Lauren chinos and Missoni swim set. Will my Birkin get stolen or should I take a Fendi instead?! Grin

Bowlersarm · 21/04/2014 09:56

Have a lovely time OP. Its good fun. Don't forget to pack your best swimming cosie for those water shoots!

DarylDixonsDarlin · 21/04/2014 12:26

It was me that asked about nice items of clothing etc. getting stolen, and for any offence caused I apologise. Especially to you Pagwatch as you seemed to get the blame for this! And OP I am sorry for derailing your thread I am genuinely interested in what to pack as I have never been to CP before (i'm going to Longleat also).

It was not bad of me to ask, does stuff get stolen at Center Parcs. I can't afford for my nicer stuff to get nicked, so I would rather take old stuff and not worry about it. But I probably should have asked on a general thread, rather than S&B! I also refuse to pretend that there is absolutely no link whatsoever between the type of clothes some people wear, and their tendency to be light-fingered.

I will reserve judgment on outfits until I have been in a few weeks time. Falling off my chair laughing at robber outfits though Wink

Fairylea · 21/04/2014 12:39

We've been to cp a few times. It's strangely very scruffy and very middle class at the same time :) ... Lots of boden breton tops and joules sweatshirts etc. New balance trainers all over the place and lots of backpacks! But I think it's mostly due to the fact it's so active. You can't really do any cycling or tennis if you're prancing about in wedges and maxi dresses.

Hardly anyone wears much make up except evenings if at all as most people are in and out of the pool all day.

It's very relaxed! I love it.
