oi blinners -the Mango tabbed pencil skirt how stretchy is it? I like it TIGHT as have thin legs and otherwise look like I am wearing a lampshade

my faves are the aforementioned plain black sheer blouse, remus, the lace t shirt and a plain crappy top from next that i also wear to work sometimes ( which normally is a totally different category) .
All are plain ish, which i like, with fancy shooz

My favourites are - a black lace Autograph one, a black M&S one with fake leather bits (but too wintry for now), cream lace one and a black silk slouchy vest (ancient Gap) but I want some with long sleeves too. Also, all of mine have very sensible necklines and I do like B's 'open a few buttons' idea - I was the only woman last night to have ne'er a hint of decolletage on show.

Remus. The marks one isn't short sleeved is it? As you know I always return things, but that marks leatherette was the only one I've forgotten in years!
I have still not worn it as I find that the shoulder things so bulky

I've never owned a black shirt. My dad never had one and hated anyone in the house having them due to the connection with fascism when he was younger. Maybe I need to get that out of my head.

So hard to find good black shirts though.

I have v narrow shoulders, so have managed to get away with the leather bits - have only worn it once or twice though because it's polyester, so sweaty when warm weather/dancing, but short sleeved so no good for winter nights sitting in pub etc.

I want a black silk or cotton blouse/shirt with long sleeves and a collar, and maybe a nice print. Marks had a reasonable one but 12 buried me and they didn't have a ten, and the neckline was a bit too, 'Jesus shirt' - I want a proper collar.

Actually am fed up - like virtually nothing lately, except black skirts. Can't remember if I linked this anywhere already but brilliant black work skirt for anybody not too tall for it to be super short on. It's really, really lovely.

Have ordered orange furla bag. This is what happens when you have wine and iPad ... I am always a bit suspicious about brands in TK maxx. The osprey london bags are made for them and nothing like the quality of osprey main line. The furla one I've ordered is a style which they seem to have discontinued called Appaloosa which retailed for 320 ish. So hopefully will be nice!am sure I will look just like Kimberley ....

re vicar w lots of black shirts. Although the white collar bit helps break it up. Black shirts only look fascist if worn w moustache, buttoned up shirt and high waisted trousers (have been Googling Mussolini and Mosley). I wear more all black than I prob should, but a great black shirt / top is so so good and all black is chic IMO.

Re the FC shirt, it's a boxy cut - approach w caution? How about an eBay search for a black silk one? I only buy exc cond items from brands I know, and at low prices - risk averse shopper here.

Cba re Ebay etc - my sizing is too unreliable, even in the same brand. Would really like a print one anyway, rather than plain black.
