Belinda just hold your finger on the address bar. Select all and copy

EduardoBarcelona · 06/05/2014 06:32

back to workwear
i have a series of meetings today at work. I have put the Next premium suit on for the first time
Trousers as SO comfy - bit of stretch in them. I got a 10 long. Jacket fit not as good but fine..
Also have to wear tomorrow for other duties Wink so it will be interesting how baggy the trews go

Stunning grey suit in esprit for all you workers beautifully cut esp the silvery grey one

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 06/05/2014 07:49

Thanks re Pinterest, but I use the app. Might switch to Safari version when wanting to link. Zara sparkle flats are so pretty - I've admired them for a while, but feared would be pinchy. I am wrong?

Ah, looking forward to hearing how the Next suit goes today. I want there to be an affordable, nice wool suit on the high st.

lurkingaround · 06/05/2014 10:40

Hello me hearties. Just scanned, love the chat. Saw the sparkly flats in Zara last week, thought they were lovely but feared discomfort, and there's nowt so ageing as discomfort. They are lovely. Also saw a pair of gorgeous Gerard Darel sparkly flats for about £50 in the den of iniquity that is TKMaxx. I know everyone seems to find stuff in there, I loathe it, it makes me instantly tired. I didn't buy, you'll probably all tell me I should have.
Love that Esprit shirt noddy. I always forget Esprit and am always pleasantly surprised when I call in. Will be interested in how the Next suit goes, have to pop into Next soon, to buy a bikini. Obv not for work.Grin.

I have the pinterest app too. Also the bloglovin app, Pinterest one is fine, I really don't like the bloglovin app. A poor app. I am in awe that Pink Peonies woman makes so much money from prancing about in viciously high heels! Fair play to her, but wow. And all those Mormon bloggers have amazing cameras, and someone to take the photos. Very few selfies it seems.

Advantage of fellow wives Lurking always someone to take a photo for you Grin

Think Zara is pretty good for jackets atm Belinda, I bought a cream one that I linked last week on here although am waiting for it to stop raining so I can actually wear it - didn't trust my grubby children with it over the dry w/e.

I have some orange heels which I often wear with a blue dress, they also work with pencil skirts or trousers.

Got my J-Crew rosewood pencil skirt on Saturday. I do love it but am not too sure what to wear with it. A lot of pencil skirts seem to be styled with t-shirts but it's a)scruffy and b)cold.

Am wearing it today with a black long-sleeved t-shirt and a black v-neck sweater - oh and my Clarks brogues which I can't stop wearing as are just so comfy but feel I need other options.

noddyholder · 06/05/2014 11:12

I fancy a long full skirt with a split like teh one VB has been wearing recently. Think its more me than pencil skirt so if anyone sees one let me know. I put on a long jersey dress leotard type with full skirt with pointy snake shoes and a round neck wool jumper and it looked almost what I am after

EduardoBarcelona · 06/05/2014 11:32

Yup. Zara shoes felt rock hard

EduardoBarcelona · 06/05/2014 11:33

I think all bloggers presume an ambient temp of about 26 degrees

Stokey · 06/05/2014 11:52

So true Eduardo, wonder where they all hang out? Have rarely worked anywhere warm enough to have bare arms, or legs for that matter.

noddyholder · 06/05/2014 11:53

There are some lovely tan sandals in Zara but also very stiff

FoxyHarlow123 · 06/05/2014 12:02

Bought this at the weekend from Primark for the princely sum of £19. Amazing quality. Really well worth a try on.

Also this for £8. Lots of different colours and really good quality. Great for under a jacket.

Foxy like those! The jacket is lovely. I was in there yesterday but had to make a quick exit as bank holiday teenage rampage! Does the jacket come in other colours?

lurkingaround · 06/05/2014 12:17

This from pink peonies has to be my favourite. Tulle skirt, bare legs, high peep toe shoes, prancing about in the snow. Although she does admit to cold toes. Ya gotta love it.

I tried on those trousers in your last post Belinda, from H&M, these ones I think. These are side zip, ankle length, and surprisingly flattering on my pear shape. I bought them in black, and I don't like patterned trousers on me, but these are so nice I really considered them in a pattern. Fabric not bad. I'm not sure they would suit if you have a tummy.

Sometimes Primark are surprising! Lovely purchases Foxy.

noddyholder · 06/05/2014 12:25

But its Xmas :)

FoxyHarlow123 · 06/05/2014 12:28

I didn't see any other colours. I can't tell you how good quality the jacket is. Lovely material and a great flattering shape. Great for work and playing out as well.

noddyholder · 06/05/2014 12:33

Love the collar and shape really nice. I get the odd thing in there I am not snobby about that stuff though I have everything from Karl lagerfeld to car boot sale in my wardrobe

lurkingaround · 06/05/2014 12:46

I get the odd thing in Primark too. I rarely get there, but you can pick up things there. Last year I got a white cotton broderie top, wore it loads and it retained its shape and colour as good as any other cotton top I have.

HazleNutt · 06/05/2014 12:53

Oh I love this from Esprit, lovely to see other colours besides gray, black and beige:

noddyholder · 06/05/2014 13:12

I love the jackets with horn/wood buttons so much less sloane rangery than shiny

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 06/05/2014 17:00

Well done, Foxy! I haven't been to Primark for a while (I tend to buy too much as am dazzled by the prices AND the Marble Arch one, where I go, is full of people who push and shove). Their cotton vests and long sleeved tops are fantastic, though.

That Esprit jacket looks really pretty. It's one of those shops that I often overlook, but the things I have bought from there, over the years, have really lasted well.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 06/05/2014 17:01

Lurking - that's great, really glad you found some trousers that work well for you, esp at that price.

EduardoBarcelona · 06/05/2014 18:59

SUIT UPDATE. I've had it on for twelve hours and I adoreTrousers so comfy. Mate said it looked made to measure.
I did fall up some steps in it and my first concern was a hole in my knee. But no. All clear.
