I have some nude ones but prefer the fishnet ones

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 20:41

Fishnet ones bloody painful if you get your toe stuck in a hole though.

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 20:42

i couldnt wear that
Would look like a bulgarian weight lifter

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 20:42

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 20:43

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 20:44

I left all of my marking at work - decided I'd worked hard enough today, without bringing it home too! :)

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 20:53

and i am DONE

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 20:55

That was quick! English takes flipping ages.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 01/05/2014 21:12

Warehouse trousers are made of cotton - heavens to betsy! Last time I looked, it was total polyester. I love floral, but I am never sure about floral trousers.

Foxy - I love Cos! I was there on the weekend, w a girlfriend who is looking for workwear, only she is pregnant, and she was in raptures about it, but disappointed she can't buy much right now. And, I stupidly left my wallet at home, so couldn't get the scarf I wanted.

I am meant to be doing a H&M post, so not meant to be here, but wanted to quickly link to this skirt in case it appealed, esp for forlorn who likes her skirts tight: www.hm.com/gb/product/24615?article=24615-A

Re walking, I take ballets / flats and change when I get there. DH is a v fast walker and I have to canter to keep up. Not possible in high heels.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 01/05/2014 21:27

Damn MN's side bar ads - just saw this: shop.mango.com/ficha.faces?utm_medium=retargeting&utm_source=criteo&utm_campaign=campaign_uk&state=she_006_IN

Ah come on, popsocks and croppeds?? I'm not that bad. Haven't fishnet ones, must look out. Back from yoga and am all centred.Hmm
Quite like the snake cami but I hate brown on me. My top half is my best. And fairly flat tummy.

Cos fan here too. Except it's impossible to buy on-line. You have to try on loads. But there are gems.

lurkingaround · 01/05/2014 22:09

That is a tight skirt Belinda. Even the model looks hippy in it! I would look like, what my mother calls, 'a holy show' i.e. not good, in that skirt. Bum waay too big! Blush

noddyholder · 01/05/2014 22:19

I wear ankle socks with heels a lot. Fine silky ones. I have the top in that h and m skirt pic

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 22:56

Like that blinners. You make me sonic like a right old slapper!!

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 22:57

Sound. Not sonic

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 01/05/2014 23:10

Ha ha! I also like tight skirts and trousers, depends on your shape - I tend towards being an apple, so tight fitted skirts and trousers suit me best. I'm not sure I would ever wear it to work, but the Me+Em cowl neck ruched dress really suits my shape, for example. I prefer the term foxy to slapper, anyway Grin.

PavlovtheCat · 02/05/2014 02:15

got to try and sleep! insomnia costs me money! But. Marking my place to read and perhaps seek some guidance on work styles in the next day or two.

holidaysarenice · 02/05/2014 02:28

theids I started a trouser thread a few days ago with some great suggestions. It's under 'bloody work trousers'

Lots have green mentioned here too. I hate work trousers....

Forlornhope · 02/05/2014 06:13

I love this thread.

BillStickersIsInnocent · 02/05/2014 07:41

Anyone received their Mango order yet? I also ordered 2 blazers and a top from Massimo Dutti but no sign.

DesperateHousewife21 · 02/05/2014 08:43

Im holding off buying online for a while as im going to Bluewater soon so can finally go in an actual Mango shop (amongst others!)

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 02/05/2014 09:22

.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 02/05/2014 09:57

I got one Mango blazer yesterday, the white one. I live tha fabric and quality, but the shape (straight cut) is not for me. Also, it has no fastenings, and I like to be able to close my jackets.

HazleNutt · 02/05/2014 10:18

I've been lurking here as well, but you lucky people with good legs are only talking about those fashionable tapered cropped trousers. I'm size 12, but have strong, muscular legs, with cankles. I have tried this years fashion, and tried, but I still look like a turnip. With cankles.

Now, has anybody seen any straight, normal length work trousers? Also maybe in other colours but black, gray, navy and beige?

MrPop · 02/05/2014 11:48
