oi blinners -the Mango tabbed pencil skirt how stretchy is it? I like it TIGHT as have thin legs and otherwise look like I am wearing a lampshade

How about the Gap straight trousers? I tried them on in my Trying It On at Gap post, one of my first posts. I think forlorn has them, and said they can shrink a little in length, after washing? I found them v flattering. I think Uniqlo are doing some straight trousers, too. For wool, there are the Martin trousers at Banana Republic, but you might want to have them narrowed, as they are a little wide. Also, HOBBS do the Gelsey trousers in wool, in navy. I have tried on all these trousers, except for the Uniqlo ones.

I love that snake print top! Lots of snake prints are too dark (eg Zara) and they can look a bit "heavy". I love the Reiss snake print shirt, but am bummed that it's polyester. I prob would have bought it if it was silk.

I'm bottom heavy too, not so much muscular, from the knees down not so bad. I have the Gap straight. They are v good, size down. And the BR Martin ones, narrowed, the leg is quite dated. But they are really comfy and fully lined. I have tried the JAPO Mango ones that Belinda recommends and I thought they were really nice. I'm a 12 to 14 on bottom half and the 14 was too big. Will buy a12. They have those slanty pockets which aren't good on me but I will see them closed. They are amazing value.

I'm still looking for shoes btw, folks. Need to be £60 or less (as they get knocked around a lot being kicked under tables etc), black, comfortable and with a heel. A small platform would be even better. basically, I still want the Kendras but they just don't work for my feet.
