Dry - how about these? www.oasis-stores.com/mini-wedge-shoes/all-shoes/oasis/fcp-product/6750016201

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 01/05/2014 10:58

I'm hoping to go and buy these tomorrow (since my Office ones are a bit pinchy and I don't want damaged / knuckley feet). I'm not buying ballets anymore - it's only slippers or, more likely, pointed flats for me. bananarepublic.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?pid=000411008J014-15172&ctotc=0-6178&tid=bupm000011&dfa=1&redirect=true

Nice shoes Belinda. Here's the other stories flat shoes page.

Stokey · 01/05/2014 12:04

Anyone seen a nice trench? Now that summer has given up again, I think I need a coat that is not a winter one but bigger than a jacket.

I tried one on in the BR sale the other day - navy one - but they only had XS or M and think I need S. XS was ok but little tight across the old boobs.

Would quite like a colour - definitely can't do beige as too close to skin tone and think black is a bit too austere. Can't do Burberry prices...

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 16:12

every year i plough the furrow of a light weight but warm raincoat

I rule out belted and double breasted and then by the time I really get into it the weather gets warmer, OR i wear a cagouley type thing because I am on a school top

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 16:14

oh remus - look at the mint velevt slouchy navy t shirt

noddyholder · 01/05/2014 16:22

TK Maxx had lots of what looked very nice trench coats the other day unfortunately I look like a sack of spuds in them but they were nice colours belted and without. Wish I suited them

noddyholder · 01/05/2014 16:27

this was lovely irl but only had small ones in the shop

Drywhiteplease · 01/05/2014 16:55

Why didn't I think of And O stories? I bought these a couple of months ago and love them. Thanks all

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 17:04

Which one FH? I haven't bought anything in MV for years, as I got sick of poor quality for lots of money.

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 17:06

agree the prices arae Shock

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 17:36

Mmmm - quite nice but think I like the look of the JW one better. The MV one is more jumper-ish.

noddyholder · 01/05/2014 17:36

I have those shoes but are black and cream zebra type v comfy

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 18:27

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 18:29

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 18:34

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 18:34

FoxyHarlow123 · 01/05/2014 18:54

Spring coats - just had a trawl through numerous websites. There are some gorgeous ones for mucho money but this is my fave from the cheaper end www.cosstores.com/gb/Shop/Women/Coats_Jackets/Checked_jacquard_coat/46891-15206686.1#c-85346

lurkingaround · 01/05/2014 19:19

MissAnnersleyismyhero · 01/05/2014 19:22

Am hoping to completely update my work wardrobe in the summer once I am in a better financial situation - lurking with interest!

Forlornhope · 01/05/2014 19:28

nope
I thought wikid wikid thoughts about that coat tabard

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 19:32

Don't like that coat, sorry. Is the flowery dress a general, 'No' then?

I couldn't wear these and I don't think they are worky, but they are cotton and a beutiful print, if anybody is of the printed trews inclination here.

And a less summery version paired with a very strange jumper here.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/05/2014 19:32

sp - beautiful

theidsalright · 01/05/2014 19:34

seriously need to buy some trousers. Going by your recommendations, I'd like to try the boden ones with the turn ups. I only have 10%off. Anyone got a code for bit more off? I can only afford £50!

Loving these work wear threads. Just wish my childcare bill hadn't completely ruined my chances of spending any money. I'm still wearing clothes I was wearing ten years ago, albeit in a different way. . .

lurkingaround · 01/05/2014 19:36

Flowery dress not for me either I'm afraid Remus.
