I agree. they are bloody good. Size WAY WAY DOWN though.
Comfy and a good half way point between skinny and straight/flappy

the white ones look ok too, but I wanted washed navy or another deepish colour

expatinscotland · 02/04/2014 18:55

I live in plimmies. Have my olive green one, navy ones, red ones, my silver sequin Converse.

But my white ones are trashed. They were M&S and they only make other colours now.

AnyFucker · 02/04/2014 19:01

I got some laceless white ones from New Look (yes, really) last year that were great for about 10 quid

expatinscotland · 02/04/2014 19:02

Laceless ones are fab, too, for airplane travel.

AnyFucker · 02/04/2014 19:03

I have several pairs of converse but getting a bit bored of them (especially since the bloody kids "discovered" them a few years ago). Have been wearing them for 30 years !

expatinscotland · 02/04/2014 19:24

I have two Converse, one Superga, the rest are M&S, Asos, George or New Look.

AnyFucker · 02/04/2014 19:30

ah, you are plimsoll addict like me Grin

Do you hate dresssing up, expat ?

I can't stand getting poshed up. Heels, frocks, blow dried hair. Fucking spare me Smile

expatinscotland · 02/04/2014 21:29

I despise dressing up. I have ONE, yes ONE dress and one suit and that's it.

My uniform is jeans, tshirt (jumper over in winter) and plimmies or my birks in summer and boots in winter.

I love those laceless plimmies in New Look! I need the navy and white ones definitely.

Witchywitch · 03/04/2014 10:18

I've just bought these jeans, the darker blue was as pp have said, quite big and I needed a size down, but the lighter blue ones in a size down we're far too small, couldn't even get them done up!

Bunbaker · 03/04/2014 14:59

I tried some on today. They are a great fit, except that they are too low rise for me and will be uncomfortable when I sit down.

OhTheDrama · 03/04/2014 16:58

Anyone tried the maternity version of these?

LordPalmerston · 03/04/2014 17:26

Boo. Sorry about that bunny

Ladies of S&B thank you! How have I survived without the next relaxed skinny jeans in my life?

After reading this thread I went to next today and it was a revelation - finally!! Comfortable jeans that fit!

Yay!

Emmaroos · 09/04/2014 15:52

@Bunbaker Suggest you try 'lift slim and shape' (also by next). No back of waist gaping at all. More expensive, but well worth it. For the straight and boot cut need to size down also. I have a pair of the skinnies too, but in my normal size.

Floisme · 10/04/2014 07:11

Thanks everyone for this tip. I had pretty much given up on jeans till I tried these. I sized up mind you, not down as the smaller size was a bit too sausagey on the thigh for my liking. If they fall down I'll let you know Smile.

IBelieveInPink · 10/04/2014 08:46

I've just seen this on my mn email.... And am a little heartbroken! I bought these the other day, and was so excited that I was back in a 10 (5 month old dd). I now see this was false hope!!!

Still, glad to have some fab jeans ??

burnishedsilver · 10/04/2014 09:20

I tried them on in the shop. Unfortuantely, they did nothing for me. The rise was too low for my shape, my bum looked flat and the denim felt like cardboard.
