Managed to get some cotton petticoats from M&S when I was over in the UK last week to wear with my LadyV Day dresses and my unlined swing dress to work (when they fit me again as stomach already bloating! Don't think I will be able to squeeze into my swing dress for the school prom in 6 weeks time!).

Bought some sleeveless shirts from Fat Face as well, which have a tie at the bottom. Fairly loose round the waist and will look great with jeans. My high waisted Collectif jeans are going to have to be packed away already. Wore them one day last week and was very uncomfortable, so need to find some other slim leg, cropped jeans to wear. Nowhere neqr big enough for maternity clothes yet so may just have to size up.

Also liked the look of this tunic perhaps with cropped jeans. Trying to get creative to keep a vintage feel!

Ooh can I join in? I adore 40/50s but am just learning about what suits me. I am an hourglass so the style suits my figure and makes me feel fab! The only problem is that I can wear the Hepburn style dresses, my busy is too large and I start looking like Hattie Jacques. I am also channeling early Joan Holloway from Mad Men. That woman knows how to rock her curves :)

MsIngaFewmarbles · 29/04/2014 22:52

Can't not can

mrscumberbatch · 29/04/2014 23:03

I need inspiration!!! I need a new outfit for a theatre night out.

It has to suit huge knockers- the boobs need a size 18 which is a bit of a nightmare size to find.

In other news... Do you like my hair?!

MsIngaFewmarbles · 29/04/2014 23:08

Hair is amazing :)

mrscumberbatch · 29/04/2014 23:11

Thankyou! It was a trial for hair for a wedding but I liked it so much I'm going to attempt to recreate it myself.

Any recommendations for specific brands of curling irons from anyone?

MsIngaFewmarbles · 30/04/2014 00:17

I am about to buy foam rollers and setting lotion. According to Vintaglicious it's the best way to get retro curls.

CallingAllEngels · 30/04/2014 08:08

Looks great mrsc. I need to work on my hair!

autumnsmum · 30/04/2014 09:02

OneLittleLady · 30/04/2014 09:23

if it's any interest to anyone in here, Primark have some lovely flat peep toe shoes with cushioning under the ball of the foot. Black and nude are the two colours I've seen them in. Think they were around six pounds. Look lovely with my full skirts and skinnies

autumnsmum · 30/04/2014 09:24

One little thanks for that

OneLittleLady · 30/04/2014 09:41

Iirc they also had some flat laser cut peep toes as well, positive I saw them in black, tan, navy and coral though of course, not all colours are available in all branches

Freddie of pinewood as mentioned above do some lovely cropped jeans

OneLittleLady · 30/04/2014 10:28

Sunshine the primark shoes have cushioning under the ball of the foot and are really comfortable, I wore them all day last week and then went straight out for the night in them and they were really comfortable with no pinching over the toes.
