Unusual wedding dress

I am getting married abroad this summer, and want a very unusual dress. I am currently a size 14 but hope to trim down a but!

I love the green dress you posted, much more original than the light blue one. I don't think it would be too warm, it doesn't look very heavy and your arms will be bare.

The photo of the blue dress comes from a photographers site, looks like in Baltimore. Maybe look at US dress sites?

Unless you are on a REALLY strict budget, why don't you order the green dress and see what it is like? I bet you could always resell it on e-bay if you don't like it. And if you like the style but it is a bit cheap looking it will give you a model to show to a dressmaker.

OP, I got married in black and white. My dress was a one off Maggie Sottero (sp?) and was fab - I've had so many lovely comments about mine!

Go for whatever you fancy - love your choice but you're right that it might be a bit warm...

Please help me find that blue dress! I think that's the one, I prefer it to the green one I think. Or one very similar but it must have that kind of cross over top.

this has the crossover top but varies quite a lot otherwise.
crossover again but not the same. They make them in loads of colours
To my mind this (also loads of colours) has more the feel of the pinterest dress

Definitely the 50s type dress - I think the green one looks a bit cheap, sorry. The blue one is lovely. Etsy have loads of beautiful vintage cocktail dresses, I'm quite tempted myself!

I have it in my 'cart'.. should I? I'd need to get it altered as I doubt I can get my waist that trim, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
