Huzzah! Jerry Hall has cut her hair.

Disclaimer: I am not suggesting people should feel obliged to chop their locks once they reach a 'certain age'.

But, I've been of the opinion for years that Jerry Hall would look fantastic without that dated, long set 'do' she's been carrying about since her teens. And now she does!

That's so much better for her. Her hair was an over coloured, frizzy looking mess. And, made her face look even longer -not that I've thought about this much-

Actually, I like the fact she hasn't had "stuff" done to her face, you can clearly see every line she's earner. She's kept her own teeth where many slebs have the teeth fixed fairly early on (Cheryl Cole, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jordan and loads of others who grace the pages of Closer/Heat/OK/Hello). I like her and her new "do" looks great!

I think she looks better. She has a long face and the hair used to drag it down even further. But as for the 'no long hair over 30' notion - even my mum thought that was old fashioned and she still believed that you shouldn't wash your hair when you had your period. (I paraphrase as she would never have used the word 'period'.)

Ugly people are extremely rare. I'm not sure I've ever met anyone who I could say is genuine ugly, as opposed to poorly presented. Calling someone ugly tells me more about person saying it than the person they're talking about.

I do kind of agree that she might not be as successful now - I just don't think that's a good thing. So many younger celebs have that 'mono-woman' look whereas Jerry Hall has always been distinctive: the long face, big nose, big teeth - I've always liked her for that and I like her even more now that she has frown lines!
