Huzzah! Jerry Hall has cut her hair.

Disclaimer: I am not suggesting people should feel obliged to chop their locks once they reach a 'certain age'.

But, I've been of the opinion for years that Jerry Hall would look fantastic without that dated, long set 'do' she's been carrying about since her teens. And now she does!

Behold how much better she now looks..............

She looks much better and would look even more better with some hair over her very high forehead and a shorter cut.

Looks soooo much better and the colour looks less washed out now too. Agree she deffo needs some sort of fringe though.

Well, I think her being tall, stick thin and photogenic with remarkable bone structure may have had something to do with the fact she became a model.

she is not ugly by any means but her hair was very dated and to be honest I think she should have done this years ago. Maybe Mick liked that flowing look better?!

I don't dislike long hair on older women but felt hers looked very dated and aged her (I was always surprised she wasn't already in her 60s).

I think she looks so much better now but agree a fringe would be better, not a blunt one, just a side fringe.

She looks absolutely lovely, always did, but looks younger with new hairdo.

I was in the queue next to her at Thorpe Park many years ago and she looked great in jeans and no make up

And I love the fact that she has had NO WORK DONE not even a bit of botox.

She seems like a lovely lady.

Gosh she looks loads better.
I really don't like long long hair on older women. I always think it looks a tad childish. But I appreciate each to their own. Their are some who would recoil at my asymmetric crop no doubt!

I think she is beautiful and has aged very well. Loved seeing the photos of her when she was younger, her daughter Georgia May looks so like her.

I love the slightly shorter look on her. I bet she's has had hell of a lot of fun in her 57 years Grin

Her new cut makes the hair look really well conditioned and healthy, the longer hair sometimes looked dry and frizzy at the ends.
Definitely an improvement.

It looks much better. Think it would be even better with a soft fringe as her face is quite long.

I think she looks great in terms of hair length either way. However, that nasty brassy tone of blonde needs sorting out. It has been years since she has had a nice colour blonde- it's too warm and yellow for her colouring.

Moving the parting from just above her ear to nearer the middle is a great improvement.

I never liked the caught sideways in a wind tunnel look. I got it once getting petrol in high winds and rain on a poorly sheltered forecourt.

She looks a squillion times better. I loathe long, flowing hair on over-30's...I think it actually takes away from your appearance in most cases, unless worn up.

She does look good. It makes her look a lot younger and fresher. I used to have a little obsession about her and her pal Marie Helvin when I used to buy Vogue years ago.

Jerry is fab ...have seen her in flesh fairly close up and don't think she has had any work done.

She looks great ..hair is better shorter but she still looks like herself .

the old hair would have been fine if in good nick, but it is clear from the photo that it was bleached and burnt to buggery with loads of split ends. So time for it to go.

new haircut is happily not that short.

I think she looks fab now, her hair previously looked too bleached cocker spaniel-like for me.
But it looks great now, on much better nick
