Help - a bit clueless about interview wear

I've got an interview at short notice, current work is v. casual so don't have any appropriate work wear.

Could I wear this to an interview?

And are ankle boots meant to be this loose round the ankle?

I think it needs a blazer or smart jacket...

It's a data analyst position, company fairly modern rather than traditional, so no suits round the workplace.

I have super skinny feet so can't wear court shoes or similar, I thought ankle boots might fit better but they're huge on me too.

Jacket may be problematic, was kind of hoping I might get away without it.

I'd say the dress is fine (v nice in fact) unless the position is senior.

Dress is great, I would wear knee highs, or ballerinas

I can't wear court shoes, my little toes finish before the toe bit starts if I get them to fit (I have very long big toes)

What sort of shoes do you normally wear eg heels, flats? Budget? Access to any particular shops?

I live in mid calf boots (the sort worn with skinny jeans) and trainers, nothing that would ever be counted as smart.

I don't mind spending up to around £120 if it's for something i'm going to get lots of use out of, less if it's a just make do pair.

I have wide feet so not sure which brands are best for you, but how about these heeled brogues?

duo do shoes where you can pick narrowness/ width. i'd probs stick with the ones you've got though (im lazy though!).

Thanks for the suggestions FamiliesShareGems but neither of those would work, there would be fresh air between the top of my feet and the top of the shoe.

I had special dispensation at school to wear boots as school shoes just didn't fit.

Interesting sizing information on that duo site, my feet measure 19.5 cm at their widest point and I'm a size 5/5.5. Narrow starts at 21 cm for size 5.

it's fine, v. expensive though! Otherwise - clean tidy hair, make up if you usually wear it, none if you don't, smelling of nothing.

I didn't pay full price, a good discount because there was a rip in the lining.

I love the dress, the boots are ok.

I would personally add a bit of colour, whether in a bag, bracelet, necklace, scarf. All the dark can be a bit dull if you are over a certain age.

I plan to get a scarf for a bit of colour. I did think about coloured tights as well but wasn't sure. I'm 32 if that makes a difference.

I would stear away from colour tights with this outfit, where the dress is cut and the straight line of your boots the colour tights will not work and will make your legs look short.

A Scarf would be great, you can go quiet bright. And if you get there and it seems to be too flamboyant, just take it off (as if a jacket). But if everyone quiet modern then you will fit right in.

Oh, on the legs looking short bit I was wondering about taking the dress up a little (3 inches), so it's the same length on me as the model?
