I'm getting semi permanent eyeliner next week

I'm booked in for semipermanent eyeliner next week and I'm worried I'll get it and it will look terrible....anyone had it before that can reassure me (or scare me off?)

The word is that the Middletons all have it. If that doesn't scare you off then nothing else will. It looks a bloody mess.

I would love to be brave enough but I'm to much of a wimp, as long as it's done well it should be great. Have you had a personal recommendation or checked out the salon properly

I bought it on groupon a whim... I'm starting to have a panic that I'm going to look like Michael Jackson....

My SIL has it and it looks really good. You can choose how heavy to have it and where, so just like normal eye pencil but no need to put it on everyday

We only know about the bad ones - ie Middletons.

I bet loads have it and it looks great.

bebop, I was thinking moderately thick black with small flicks at the end, which is more or less what I attempt to scrawl on my face every morning! I can never get both eyes to match though. I hope the beautician doesn't have the same problem....

I would go for a more subtle look. Might it look harsh having 'thick' eyeliner when you are not wearing any other makeup.
Also, is it possible to go for dark grey rather than black.

I wear quite a lot of eyeliner normally Tootles, I am very rarely seen without it! I have small piggy eyes you see. I didn't realise you could get dark grey... I like the sound of that!

I don't know - I just read what they think of Kate and her family on there. Most of it is slanderously fantastic.

ophio... I have assumed that it just looks like normal eyeliner so I suppose it wouldn't totally cover it. I might have to invest in some medical grade concealer if it all goes tits up!
