I'm getting semi permanent eyeliner next week

I'm booked in for semipermanent eyeliner next week and I'm worried I'll get it and it will look terrible....anyone had it before that can reassure me (or scare me off?)

I just had my eyebrows tattooed on and the lady that did it had her eyeliner done.

It was a dark greeny black with little flicks and looked amazing.

Rioja - did I have to shave all your brows off first?

No, they were really patchy and she has used the tattooing to colour them in and shape them so they match.

I don't need to draw them on anymore which is amazing! She's done a grand job and you can't tell they're not real until you're really close up.

Was she not given a patch test? I was sent the ink a week before to ensure I didn't react to it.

I'm not able to get my brows wet for a week though and have been warned that they will get really itchy and scabby but resist the urge to scratch!

I'm defo wanting to get this done once I have had my eyes lasered.
Mainly coz I am too lazy to wear makeup every day but prob should do something once don't have thick framed specs to hide behind!

She was sent for a test Rioja but I think underestimated that it is a tattoo on her eyelids and therefore didn't expect the pain or swelling afterward

I'm getting it done on Thursday, so I'll keep you posted! was it painful getting your eyebrows done? if I like my eyeliner, then brows are next! I colour mine in religiously!

oh my god Ronald... I never even considered swollen eyes. and considering the amount of tattoos I have, you would have thought I would have twigged! I haven't considered patch tests either.... oh no. people like me shouldn't be allowed to buy things off of groupon!

ladycurd, it was 50 quid for either top or bottom, its normally 300. bargain! if it looks good that is! salon seems pretty reputable though.

It seems they do, caramel, for one I don't but I do care very much that she's do idle, always has been, and the way her awful family are benefiting from her whilst also not doing anything.
