Am I alone in really disliking animal print?

I really, really dislike it. I'm happy to see it on others but I just can't see myself in it. I got given a lovely Lola Rose scarf for my birthday but it's an animal print design so I'll never wear it.

I'm with you escargot and I'm training 8yo to hate it too.

Someone I know has a zebra-skin feature wall. Hope I managed to hide my Shock when I saw it.

RosegoldRuby · 23/01/2014 17:16

Myname, tis a slippery slope you're starting on. Give it six months and people will be calling you Bet. You'll probably be wearing those loo-seat earrings too. ( an episode in the eighties, burned into my memory).

Step away from the animal prints myname, you know it makes sense.

escargot · 23/01/2014 17:17

Excellent work on training hard! Try not to make them point and guffaw though eh?

I love animal prints, with bright red lipstick. Love it love it love but then I'm a nice shape, blonde and 25, I hope I'll grow old disgracefully wearing it to.

Floisme · 23/01/2014 17:18

Yup, Escargot you definitely win this one Grin I've thought about starting an I-don't-get-bags thread but I'm too scared!

Not a fan of zebra or snake print but I do love leopard print, especially if it's black/white. (My favourite flat ankle boots are black/white leopard print and I adore them). However, only on accessories, I'd never wear it on clothing mostly because I don't really wear patterns.
I think a leopard print belt, bag or shoes can really pull an outfit together, although not all worn together, obviously!
The flats marsha posted are exactly my cup of tea.

escargot · 23/01/2014 17:26

san Nooooo0o not even leopards wear black and white leopard! Shock

I don't care, I think it's rather chic and punctuates navy, black, grey and denim perfectly! Oh, and you'll be pleased to know I don't wear animal print in the summer, it's definitely a winter pattern!

Olivegirl · 23/01/2014 17:30

I know what you mean, don't like animal print at all

But I think It made a come back a couple of years back both my teenage daughters would wear it ..scarfs flats etc.
Just asked one of them ...they wouldn't wear it now.
