They look very practical, the sort of thing Annie Wilkes in Misery might wear.

WhoNickedMyName · 03/01/2014 16:39

Yes, I'm afraid you will.

tethersend · 03/01/2014 16:40

They're so bad, you'll be fashion-forward. I reckon all the kids in Shoreditch will be wearing them in a couple of months Grin

SecretRed · 03/01/2014 16:41

Aww I like them, wouldn't wear them though!
Loving the use of the word twerp too!

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 03/01/2014 16:51

Sorry,but yes!

But you could complete the look with a big red lumberjack shirt,a puffy body warmer and some jeans

Nerfmother · 03/01/2014 17:27

Op the problem is, I think, that the boots are appealing on their own but once you put feet, a body and other clothing near them they will be weird.

I like them!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/01/2014 17:43

Love twerp. Are they for soggy, rainy, snowy days? I think in that case, with a 'cool' parka and skinnies as below, they'd be fine. Have seen a lot worse!

Pollywallywinkles · 03/01/2014 17:44

Depends on what you are going to wear them with and where. Not so good if you are wearing them to the wine bar. A walk in the park, yes.

PoshPaula · 03/01/2014 17:46

You may well do, yes. But who cares?

whereisshe · 03/01/2014 17:46

I like them... I'd be careful what you wear them with though. Like this would work.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/01/2014 17:48

Oooh! Are they Merrell - or faux? Merrell boots are damn cool.

Don't listen to them. They wont be laughing so hard when their feet drop off from cold.

southeastastra · 03/01/2014 17:50

i like them too

NorbertDentressangle · 03/01/2014 17:51

Love the word 'twerp' - I was only reminiscing the other day about my Granny using it regularly!

The boots would look great teamed with the right clothes like others have mentioned (parka, skinny jeans and such like) but not with Mum jeans and a fleece please!

lurkingaround · 03/01/2014 17:59

My mother used to use 'twerp'. I'd forgotten it.

I quite like the boots. Snowy wet weather? You won't be the twerp.

MacaYoniandCheese · 03/01/2014 18:01

Everyone wears boots like that here. They are 'Fargo Chic'.

thriftychic · 03/01/2014 18:05

I like them. I also like the Joules muck boots but I've never got a pair because I always wonder the same about them. Would I look a twerp?

GoodnessKnows · 03/01/2014 18:20

Oh I think they're cute. Very practical too - so you'll get lots of wear out of them. Good with black/ brown clothes, rain or shine. Love the furry bits inside.

lurkingaround · 03/01/2014 18:21

Fargo chic

lurkingaround · 03/01/2014 18:23

Fargo chic with noots

lurkingaround · 03/01/2014 18:24

Boots not noots. On phone. Have fat finger syndrome.
