Best red lipstick?

I have red hair, and have been told by a few people that 'redheads just don't suit red lip colour', that kind of thing. But I LOVE it.
I currently wear MaxFactor Ruby Tuesday
Any recommendations/favourites?

Mac Ruby Woo - very matt

I'm intrigued by MAC - hear so many good things, but I've never tried any of their products. Maybe now is the time!

I am scared of proper bright red lipstick (working up to it!) so I like Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple - lovely and sheer but definitely red.

i used to love ruby woo, but i find it a bit drying. I LOVE mac red though. its perfect.

Mac Dubonnet, Diva, Russian Red, Lady Danger, Ladybug, Ruby Woo all worth trying.

Oh yes, forgot about Mac Red Branleuse, prob cos the name is so dull, but it's gorgeous.

Red hair here too, and after trying lots have settled on Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in Romantic - nice warm red but doesn't make my teeth look yellow, and lasts ages.

This is great! Lots of choices to agonise over One thing I'll miss about Ruby Tuesday is the taste though - it is oh so good.

Nars Jungle Red?

Revlon Really Red. It's matt and goes fabulously with red hair. I wear it over Romantic too.

Any Chanel Coco that has a bit of blue in it, they are really good mosturizers and that is the most important thing with reds

Chanel red, all the way. They only do one red, it suits everyone. It's shade 19 I think. I've got red hair and paleish skin and it looks good on me. It lasts forever and goes on beautifully smoothly. Best lipstick ever in my opinion.

Lancôme Madame Tulip is a corally red

Also no 256 by them is good.
