I am overweight and I have big breasts so I don't want anything double breasted as that tends to emphasise them too much. Size 16-18 and my budget is max of £250 but I want something versatile and warm please.
I have seen this www.johnlewis.com/barbour-belton-quilted-jacket-navy/p625699#default which I quite like...help please!

There are some very nice coats on your link. Not sure on the belt but this is because I never wear belts on coats.

reddaisy · 17/10/2013 21:41

I quite like belts as it gives me more of a waist!

Then it's a very nice coat on your link

reddaisy · 17/10/2013 23:09

Thanks Big! I think I will see if I can track it down in my local store.

Try TK Maxx, I recently bought lovely Michael Kors biker coat and a parka for much less than the cost of that one coat. Have something dressy and something warm and waterproof for school run.

reddaisy · 18/10/2013 10:38

Good plan! TK Maxx is a bit hit and miss here but I will give it a try.

I tried that coat on and it was lovely; very feminine, warm and snuggly. I have boobs too. I think you can't go wrong with it.

reddaisy · 18/10/2013 10:47

Ooh lovely review thanks. Did you buy it Feathered? Or did you end up with another one?

And what was the sizing like? I am a 16-18 so I don't know what size to order.

i got a gorgeous coat in debenhams at the weekend. i'm a 16-18 and bought a 16 Grin . it's decievingly light but very warm and they had a massive selection.

bunnymother · 18/10/2013 12:21

For what it's worth, you could almost get an Aigle Cuckmere on your budget, which is both down filled and waterproof and belted.

bunnymother · 18/10/2013 12:22

Oops, ignore "both" in my last post.

reddaisy · 18/10/2013 12:29

Link please KCumber! I haven't heard of the Cuckmere - I will google now.

I don't have one, but the comments on MN are that it's a seriously warm coat.

http://m.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_057010129665_-1 i paid full blooming price for it a week agoEnvy

the picture makes it look crap actually, it's almost a blue-ish grey with herringbone pattern and seems to sit nicer on me than on the model despite the fact you could fit 3 of her into my one

Thanks for the links. I found a nice Lands End one on the Debenhams site that I might order and it is much cheaper!
