Want either a nightdress or PJs. Usually get White Company but can't afford them right now. Everything else (eg M&S) is so ugly that it makes me want to weep. I like grey, or black, or maybe white, or maybe mauve or something. I like natural fibres. I hate teddy bears, 'cheeky' slogans or indeed anything that suggests I might be 11 years old. I don't want anything old ladyish.

Help please. I'm doomed, aren't I?

Yep! I hate pyjamas, so want nightdresses. I don't like shirt collars, o it's either 11 year old or granny...

CountBapula · 11/10/2013 20:48

I was just this minute drooling over these pjs - v pretty in a subtle way and not too spendy.

CreatureRetorts · 11/10/2013 20:54

Honestly, no one can see it?!

Why not get yoga pants and t shirt in a colour you like?

duckyfuzz · 11/10/2013 20:56

I wear fat face or gap pj bottoms and gap vest, easy

MyPantsAreGreen · 11/10/2013 20:58

I had the same problem and bought this. It's lovely and comfy and feminine and not tarty

I usually get plain bottoms from somewhere like Sainsburys, I've had. A few nice once from there in soft material. Then a vest top, or long sleeve t-shirt.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/10/2013 21:00

Yoga pants make me too hot. In fact, full length PJs tend to make me too hot tbh.

OK not long shorts

MorrisZapp · 11/10/2013 21:10

Pyjamas? Like, the same top and bottoms? How terribly 70's sitcom :)

I just wear t-shirts and vests with random bottoms, bought from usual high street suspects (including Primark, who do nice cotton bottoms).

These looked lovely and soft in the shop.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 11/10/2013 21:11

Have you looked in sainsbury's? If you look carefully you will find some things are 100% cotton.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/10/2013 21:14

I don't care if the top and bottom match, but have big norks so vest tops tend to unleash the beasts a bit.

I don't mind separate bottoms and tops but I literally can't find a single thing that I like. Would prefer a nightie tbh - am clearly an old woman.

I like this but too expensive.

OP posts:
duckyfuzz · 11/10/2013 21:18

this?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 11/10/2013 21:19

£40! Bonkers.

Twoandtwohalves · 11/10/2013 21:20

The Gilly Hicks stuff is lovely. I'm wearing a plain gap tshirt and primark bottoms over an old nursing bra. I like the stuff in gap (greys and blues, no teddies) but can never quite stretch to the £££s.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/10/2013 21:20

I have that Gap one in several different prints - it's nice. But it does need a good ironing. :)

GAP have lots of cotton, and lots more in store than online

CharlotteBronteSaurus · 11/10/2013 21:22
