After three kids, I let it flub about which I never thought I'd do. Mind you, the nearer I get to forty, the more I say "sod it"

Mine is a little flabby but doesn't sag IYKWIM. I don't like it but never really get around to toning it up so I just cover it up.

I hate mine and would love a miracle de-flabbing cure. I think I can honestly use the word 'muffin-top' to describe mine at this point in time

Mine is dependent on what I eat and time of month.

Right now it looks like I'm 6 months pg (AF + a banana that didn;t agree with me) but other days can look reasonably flat.

Cutting out bread for a few days (I am a terrible toast fiend) usually makes a big difference, if I can manage it.

Did you get any useful tips Sowoffended? Where's the thread?

I think it's genetic - I see myself getting spare tyres like my Mum if I don't do something soon.

I feel great animosity towards my tummy.

It was the one bit of me that was ok before child - it was flat and fairly toned and I could wear hipster trousers with a short t-shirt with pride (no muffin top either). I have no breasts to speak of and big chunky thighs (classic pear shape) so having an ok tummy was a real bonus.

It is now flabby, dimpled and overhangs at the sides, despite being back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I do know that exercise is the answer, and I should stop obsessing about it and just do some....but haven't.

I will be watching this thread with interest

but no stretch marks or dimples, jsut a fat muffin top

also it is soooooo white

A muffin top occurs when a woman wears tight lower waisted trousers and then has an overhang of fat all around the waistband, akin to a muffin rising up and over it's paper case

Mine looks all crepey and like there is too much skin. I run about 20 miles a week and do sit ups. If i stretch my arms up towards the sky my stomach looks amazingly like Paul Radcliffe's... almost 6 pack like. So, yes, i'm toned and taut, but its not visible to the general public due to covering of loose saggy skin

Paula Radcliffe .... Not PAUL ... dur

I just need the motivation to do sit ups.
When does everyone find the best time to do them is? First thing in the morning or last thing at night?

trinityrhino · 24/06/2006 20:34

I have no stretch marks (fingers crossed for this third pregnancy) and it's not taut and toned but it's not saggy

I have no argument with it, it's ok

Report
Beauregard · 24/06/2006 20:41

I hate it with a passion.
