I don't understand matching underwear sets

I have 2 issues, firstly the underwear I wear is largely decided by my clothes, so if I'm wearing a light top and dark bottoms, the underwear will be light on top and dark below.

Second, unless you're buying silk bras (surely most people aren't?) bras tend to be nylon, so does that mean you wear nylon knickers all along too?

I always wear matching set of underwear. I don't feel right getting dressed if my knickers do not match my bra.

The only time I didn't was when I went through a few years of having horrendous periods so for a week each month I wore 'period"pants!

Thankfully my periods have stopped and I can wear nice underwear all the time.

I love matching underwear. Don't wear it that often, but when I do, it makes me feel better. No idea why, it's not like anyone sees it!

I've never found a matching pair of knickers that are comfy and pretty. They're all pretty much thongs or big pants with horrible elastic. I just wear black cotton bottoms generally, regardless of the bra.

I don't have matching.
All my bras from Rigby and Peller, and I'm not spending £49 on frothy bits of fabric to cover (or rather, not cover) my arse.

I buy 10 nude and 10 black pants every year to see me through.

All my bras are hand me downs from my sister and all my pants are cheapies from asda or primark si no matching set at all. It doesnt really bother me tbh.

I find I can either have underwear that matches my body shape or or underwear that matches each other - I prefer the former.

I agree with odd bods, I have never found matching knickers for my 38g bras that are normalish cotton high leg knickers, with a gusset you can stick things to!

I 'match' in as much as I if I wear a black bra I wear black cotton pants, pink with pink etc

Occasionally if I am ordering a bra I'll order the matching pants but they always languish unworn taking up space and being reproachful.

I have NO matching underwear.
I have 4 bras - all the same make/model, two nude, one white, one black. Not lacy/patterned,and very functional, but they sit beautifully under clothes. To go with them I have a dozen pairs of plain cotton knickers. I have yet to find a set of pretty lingerie that looks good under clothes.

I just reorganised my pant drawer and am
going to try to match but often I wear light skirt or shorts with coloured top so can't.

I have to say I make more effort if people will see eg gym or shop changing room!

Thanks to my best ever purchase; a breast reduction 3 years ago, I now wear matching underwear most of the time and I am so happy about it Grin. I am 34 back and the letters/cup sizes never went up high enough for that back size. I am still stacked, anywhere from an E to a G cup depending in size, but I have nice
Normal underwear
Now and no granny bras, aaahhhh.

I never wear matching sets (sorry DH). As you said, Nylon knicks are not comfy, and tbh, fancy bra sets don't tend to come in my size. Nope, M&S briefs and sensible nude bras are my day to day!

I always tend to match, if not exactly the same set then the same colour. I just prefer it that way.

Don't get it unless I am a mucky slut. I don't change my bra every day but I certainly do my pants! Does everybody change their bra daily? Me 4-5 wears so maybe am a mucky slut Confused

Unless you can by matching sets with 5 pairs of pants?

Have bought matching sets in the past, but never worn them , so have finally learned not to waste money on them. I have pretty bras which match what I am wearing, but for knickers only wear nude or black thongs, which I find most comfortable, and also invisible under clothes. I don't find any other other knickers comfortable.

I rarely match-match. I need to wear cotton underwear and no decent bra company has yet worked out that providing matching cotton pant options rather than thrush magnets scratchy lace or sweaty satin might be a profitable way forward.

Only a few matching sets which end up wit me only wearing the bras as the knickers are awful.

However, I do change my bras daily, I would feel grubby not doing so.

No matching here other than maybe white wuth white etc.

I dont like nylon or manmade fibre knickers so buy big pantsin 100% cotton in plsin black nude and white. I do have a few pairs with lace trim or a print but still cotton big pants Blush

Wow, I'm proud of myself on the days I manage to wear a pair of matching socks! Think that the last time my bra and nickers matched was pre kids.
