Ooh, love that dress Queen. Top tip re dresses and DH, regularly show him things you 'just love' but 'of course would never buy because it's crazily expensive' that are around the £800-£1000 mark...makes the £200-£300 ones look reasonable after a while
I spent yesterday lying by a lake on which DH and DC's messed about on a pedalo while I caught up with the last few days posts and links. Very nice. I ran out of time and data allowance before i could post though
.
Personally I too will be doing luxe grunge as it is more or less my usual style anyway. Pretty sure I will be in the non-tartan team though, but Marsha I really liked the Lucy Choi's
.
DH needs hints wrt fashion related presents. Then he's great. A bit hit and miss left to his own devices though, we have had a few 'VW' moments too
. He does occasionally venture into Anna in search of a gift and spends an hour picking things up and the assistants go 'no, she's got that...yes, got that....that too'
, so not always good
. His first gift to me was a gel filled ladies bike saddle - so romantic - he had recently introduced me to mountain biking and was very excited that I liked it
.
Speaking of cycling we are riding up the valley today, approx 8 miles mountain trail upwards, lunch at one of our favourite places then back again. Always fun. DS1 has been doing it since he turned 6, he's amazing on his bike, DH has Dd on a saddle on the front of his bike and ds2 in seat on the back - nutter.
