Not keen QC, sorry.
Might look ok with trousers.
But I wouldn't put them with a skirt.

(and I like comfy shoes too)

Annianni · 10/08/2013 11:42

Blimey Mig, you are queen of the links!

I'm off sander shopping soon woo hoo... :o

Annianni · 10/08/2013 11:46

Shop, my new photo is Ds2 wearing M&S's finest sunglasses upside down.

I can't wear anything decent at the moment, as he's obsessed with pinching them off me!

Annianni · 10/08/2013 11:48

Foxy, you poor thing.

Lots of meditation or wine for next week.

shopafrolic · 10/08/2013 13:01

Frumpy I think QueenC sorry

Negroni · 10/08/2013 13:17

QueenC I am not a fan of those shoes, sorry. I have tried on so many loafers because I love them when I see them in pictures or on models but they never look right on me - make me look like a librarian and not a sexy, stylish one!

Negroni · 10/08/2013 13:20

Mig Thanks for those links, love lots of them.

Really like the MDutti leopard print flats and the silk top.

Also like the cacharel skirt, love the oasis stripy one and the preen prints. I like the tube one too but am too fat round the middle for that. Thank you! I am now inspired to shop.

OneLittleLady · 10/08/2013 13:21

QueenC I agree that they are on the frumpy side, there's just something about them that says orthopedic shoe. sorry

QueenCadbury · 10/08/2013 13:36

Thanks for your honest opinions. I won't be buying them!

Fresh bread is the work of the devil. Just waiting for friends to arrive and am starving so just thought I'd have a tiny bit of bread. Hmm, 3 slices later and I'm full!

Lovely links mig especially the massimo dutti stuff. Are they the big sister of zara. I've put them on my list of shops to visit when I go to London.

i agree on the shoe front, queenc, sorry.

I love bread too and feel no guilt! i get sourdough from my local bakery, it's made using the bertinet recipe and is absolutely delicious. also ruinously expensive but am always happy to pay for quality.

I adore [[http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/353057?cm_mmc=ProductSearch--gb--Boots-_-Eternity&gclid=CIbvj9eJ87gCFQTMtAodgX4A7w these boots] but wish they were leather. perfect style pour moi.

foxysocks · 10/08/2013 15:25

ugh sorry - link

don't know what happened there!

MarshaBrady · 10/08/2013 16:25

Love them Foxy. Perfect for you.

Shop are you at the ils?

QueenC sure there's some good ones out there.

Thanks Anni am still considering them.

santamarianovella · 10/08/2013 16:26

nice foxy ,look comfy,

mignonette · 10/08/2013 17:13

Nice boots Foxy I have had these Doc Marten Bikers since 2003. They have only just started to look past their best so I need to buy a new pair. I will probably just replace them with the same ones. They are more attractive in the flesh and I also like these shorter versions. I got into wearing them when doing night duty on a secure MH unit because they do not squeak, are supportive and allowed me to run when the alarms went off if I needed to without turning ankles....They are fantastic shoes.

Queen Not so keen on those shoes but I do like flat form soled shoes like you. They are in fashion this winter so you should be able to find some. DM makes Flat forms in a lovely pair of knee boots as well as shoes. I have a pair of grey felt flatform lace ups that I love. They are like Beetle Crushers.

shopafrolic · 10/08/2013 17:21

Gorgeous boots Foxy
Marsha last night of freedom this evening and drive there tomorrow after lunch while DS hopefully naps! Thai takeaway and lots of wine tonight in preparation. I am beyond anxious - ridiculous really.

mignonette · 10/08/2013 17:31

Oh Shop....I get how you feel. I really do not do well in these family situations as i am quite reserved to the point of withdrawn when there is a lot going on. I need my space. And my DH's family are a huge load of people with interchangeable seemingly endless reams of cousins/nephews/nieces all yelling and talking over each other.

I hope you feel able to be boundaried with FIL so as not to get 'infected' by his confessional mood. Be firm about getting time on your own even if it is 'to get the papers/milk/walk dog/garden etc. I always volunteer myself for every errand then take a long time! Does your DH understand? Mine is very very good and never expects me to do what I cannot.

shopafrolic · 10/08/2013 17:42

It'll be fine I'm sure - I'd just rather be in Italy Grin

mignonette · 10/08/2013 17:51

Well yes there is that Shop. Think you have a slogan for a new t shirt line- "I'd just rather be in Italy'....

shopafrolic · 10/08/2013 18:10
Grin
shopafrolic · 10/08/2013 18:11

already done I should have done it, they'd have been much more stylish!

shopafrolic · 10/08/2013 18:13

Novice you're going for it with the Lakeland catalogue aren't you!?
My best purchases? A loaf tin and liners, sticky stuff remover, the washing up bowl you pinned and Klippits....... :)

shopafrolic · 10/08/2013 18:18

is this fab or horrific?

mignonette · 10/08/2013 18:26

That is the very on trend Laundry Bag check as seen first on the Celine catwalk Shop. I like it and want this bag and I like the coat too.
