Would this dress age me prematurely?? (I'm in my 20s...)

Not so keen on the grey. Love the other colors.

mathanxiety · 22/06/2013 17:46

It's a bit like a monk or nun outfit. I think it would be very unforgiving if you had even the smallest bulge anywhere. Also think the colour is very drab.

mathanxiety · 22/06/2013 17:46

Sorry - that was very negative.

LeoandBoosmum · 22/06/2013 17:49

I think you can do better. Sorry.

Glitterkitten24 · 22/06/2013 17:50

Hmm I'm not a fan. I generally like a cowl neck, but I don't know if I'm keen on it on a maxi dress.

The brighter colour is slightly better than the grey one.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 22/06/2013 17:51

I'm 39 and would not wear it for that reason (mussiness) - the sacky shape, the lack of detailing and the afterthoughts for sleeves.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 22/06/2013 17:51

mumsiness

rockybalboa · 22/06/2013 17:53

Not sure about being mumsy but there is nothing nice about it at all, sorry!

TheEarlOf · 22/06/2013 17:54

I'm dithering I really am. What it has going for it is that it's the right length... Very rare for a shorty like me!

I was going to try and be tactful...but I think it's vile, sorry.

BalloonSlayer · 22/06/2013 17:57

I am in my late 40s and I think it would look awful on me. But as you are in your 20s I reckon you could get away with it.

valiumredhead · 22/06/2013 18:01

I like it.

browneyedpixie · 22/06/2013 18:03

I like it (28). What you wear with it makes the outfit, ie i would wear a biker jacket/denim jacket, metallic bag and converse. http://tryingyummymummy.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/metallic-cross-body-bags-and-dip-dye.html?m=1 like this

browneyedpixie · 22/06/2013 18:03

try again like this

TheEarlOf · 22/06/2013 18:10

Ohh I like the dip-dye effect of that dress

ExcuseTypos · 22/06/2013 18:12

I think it's lovely, especially at that price!

Vibbe · 22/06/2013 18:14

I'm 30 and I wouldn't wear it. It's the upper half of the dress that isn't good. Sorry.

MummyAbroad · 22/06/2013 18:20

The model presumably has a perfect bod underneath it, but even SHE doesnt look good in it. Its not flattering round the waist or hips or boobs or legs or shoulders

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 22/06/2013 18:21

I think your dress is a nicer colour / shape and a more tailored waist Pixie - devil is in the details.

TheEarlOf · 22/06/2013 18:23

If I put up a pic of me in it is it possible for me to delete it after?

browneyedpixie · 22/06/2013 19:14

Yes add to your profile page?

pictish · 22/06/2013 19:17

It's just so drab.

KikeriFreedomCastle · 22/06/2013 19:48

Possibly yes. Agree also that it doesn't flatter the model.

KinNora · 22/06/2013 19:50

Tragically unable to speak as a twenty year old (that ship is a mere dot on the horizon) but I have that dress in blue, it's completely un-mumsy and very flattering, aaaaannnd my sister (size 8, and spectacularly glamorous ) bought it too ( independently - we don't copy each othe ). Have had loads of compliments on it.
