Can I wear Crocs in London?

I am off to the big city in a few weeks to watch a show at the theatre. I live in a small town in the Southwest where people are not seemingly bothered about being stylish and a lot of us live in Crocs.

Will I be laughed at? Is there an alternative to Crocs? I cannot imagine anything else would be as comfy.

And maybe invest in a pedicure to sort your nails out?

LoriGrimes · 19/06/2013 21:04

My toe nails could be another thread. I had in growing nails on my big toes which were cut off and only half a big thick hoof like nail grew back. Awful.

No

Trainers would be better

Crocs should be banned

valiumredhead · 19/06/2013 21:31

You can wear whatever you like in London, no one will give two hoots!Grin

Agree with others about dirt.

Streets will either be dusty or puddly.

forevergreek · 19/06/2013 21:43

I wouldn't, I only let our toddlers wear them to the park or in the garden!

I'm amazed at these replies. No one gives a monkeys what you wear in London, still less to a kids matinee.

Wear them. Do not waste your money on buying new shoes - unless you want to

ihearsounds · 19/06/2013 22:26

A pair of crocs are the only shoes that a normally well behaved, none shoe eating dog ate.

Monty27 · 20/06/2013 01:05

No-one gives a monkeys what you wear in London I agree.

But will you feel, you know, erm, good in them? Grin

Monty27 · 20/06/2013 01:09

Mind you, if you're serious about clawed toenails I'd be spending my money on sorting them out and not a trip to London Grin
