I have a very large gap in my front abs, 2 months after had baby. I still look about 5 months pregnant and it's very wobbly Blush. Someone recommended tummy binding to me.

Has anyone done this? Can you recommend a good belly binder/girdle/splint? I was thinking about buying one by Leonisa and http://www.classicshapewear.com/leonisa-compression-waist-cincher-girdle-018624-p-2262.html this one was suggested. Is it a good option?
Thanks for any tips

I had this, i attended a physio in the maternity hopsital (women s heath physio) had to be really careful lifting and bending and getting in and out of bed and all that, It s much better now, I had to avoid certain type of exercises too like sits ups as they make it much worse. Lots of core work and the physio gave me a support to wear.
It s much better now

Thanks Turquoiseblue, very reassuring to know that it gets better. Do you need to do the exercises forever to stop it coming back?

I had one of these which really helped to hold everything in. I found because I had no muscle in the front I got really bad backache so this really helped.

Have you been referred to a physio? They will give you all the exercises to do. You have to be quite careful as sit ups and certain exercises can make it worse. I also had the tupler technique book (can find on amazon) which has exercises in but the pysio will be best.

It took about 3 months and now they're back to as good as they ever will be.

Thank you for the link and hope! I have appointment with physio on Monday. Hope to get exercises and more advice then.
