Slightly different bra intervention

I pretty much never wear bras. Year round I wear I camisoles for warmth which solves the nipple showing problem and have never felt the need.

However there is the odd occasion where having a teeny tiny bra to deal with nipple showage would be handy, when wearing a fitted dress for example.

I tried buying a size 8 triangle bra from Topshop that was quite pretty but made from spandex and polyamide and having that much manmade fibre next to my skin brought up sore red patches all over my boobs which was ungood.

The only company I can find doing non-wired cotton rich bras that come up small is American Apparel and I won't buy from them because the way they portray women in their marketing material makes me a bit sick in my mouth.

Anyone seen a cotton rich non-wired bra that does not look like a starter bra from M&S? I'll settle for a starter bra if I have to but it would be good to know I've explored all the options...

How about those nipple hiding sticker things, thus? here. I think there are silicone ones about too.

MrsLettuce · 30/05/2013 20:46

Yes, silicone http://www.glamoursecrets.co.uk/shop/Nipple_Covers.html here (second down). My skin reacts very easily but I was absolutely fine with those LillyPaz silicone 'breast pads' when I was BF.

oops here

Accessorise had a few a while back, I tried to check for you but my browser takes me only to the French site (I'm in France) but I can't navigate as my French is very poor Blush

Oh, sorry. What I came to say was that it's usually fine to just take the wire out of bras when you have ballerina boobs.

not black but wireless and 86% cotton

Cheers for the Accessorise tip Barbie1 I hadn't realised they did lingerie.

Silicon stickers are a good idea MrsLilyPad cheers. And that one from Zalando is 90% there, definitely better than a starter bra so I'll order it and see how I get on. There are some others on that site that look like they might be more comfortable than the Topshop one even though they are still manmade fabric. It can't just be the manmade fabric that caused the reaction because I've worn sportsbras and skintight leggings and so forth without problems before. Maybe my boobs just realised they were mutton dressed as lamb...
