Crikey Crem, what a drama. Will you now have to pretend nothing's happened, or are you allowed to talk about it? I had the silent treatment all day yesterday - DP's preferred method of 'dispute resolution' - but it then it turned out he thought I'd been rude about his family. Which maybe I had. So, oops. If there were any truth in astrology, I'd say that Sagittarians and Cancerians are not compatible in this regard.

As for the party, it was great! I left before any boogieing started, but as we've yet to hear from the sleepover contingent, maybe they were up all night throwing shapes, cutting rugs, etc.

I got there about 45 minutes before the rest of the crepeys, so had to be terribly brave and ? gasp ? talk to strangers. But, naturally, they were very nice and even belonged to choirs.

Right. House prep to start, as in-laws are coming round for lunch.

Morning all! Had a lovely evening at MIs (despite drunkenly rabbiting on to a fellow guest who turned out to be a teacher from th DCs primary school) - have a bit of a headache this morning! Twas lovely to catch up with CV, ruby, wilbur and Herbs-the-brave and MIs dress was fab - perfect colours and cut! Had a leisurely breakfast with my sleepover pals at a local cafe and am now on the bus to Oxfotrd St (yes I am mad) to do a few jobs.

Afternoon all! What a lovely evening, and lovely people. MI, your home and friends were just as I'd imagined. And it was sooo nice to wake up at BTM's and wander off to a local cafe for breakfast without being bothered by small people, although climbing out of BTM Junior's loft bed in the morning did present a bit of a challenge.

The house is full of tired people today; both girls had sleepovers last night so are slumped on the sofa wrapped in blankets and whingeing. DS and I have to be up at 5am tomorrow, so it will be early nights all round.

Crem, hope you got away OK after all the trauma.

First off: thank you, thank you so much for coming, lovely friends (and for lovely presents too - you shouldn't have). I am a little fragile today...

I have got over my hangover and have started the week by (a) wrestling with the online service to PAY for DD2's music exams (a cool over-a-hundred quid) (b) attempting to chase clients who between them owe me several thousand quid. It's the big businesses which are the worst, quel surprise.

Am now going to go and physically drop off the form for DD2's exam as it's five minutes' walk away yet quite possible that if I put it in the post I'll miss the deadline.

Waah - very nice photo BTM but owing to two people putting up dogs instead of profile pictures of themselves on FB I can only guess at who's who!

I imagine I am the one with the slightly brassy hair, due to leaving dye on too long...

Have just put friend requests in to BTM and Ruby (I hope), or possibly to two strangers who will think I'm weird. BTM - it looks like we also have another mutual friend as well - hilariously small world.
