Arf at "willies". Not the first time I've seen that autocorrect faux-pas in S&B - it seems to catch out quite a few people. Have you seen that website "damn you autocorrect"? Some corkers on there.

MrsS - where are you going on holiday that has no internet? I agree with BTM that Skype has to be the way forward, if you can make it work. It would be a shame to ruin your holiday, but it depends how much you want the job......

hattymattie · 30/05/2013 13:36

I reckon that would be La France profonde. (only guessing though).

bigTillyMint · 30/05/2013 21:02

My Blake dress has finally arrived!

With a catalogue.

And I love everything in it.

The autocorrect on my work computer used to change the name of my Korean colleague, Mr Chun, to Mr Cunt. I think he might have upset someone in IT at some point.

I think it is - says both names on the websiteConfused

Hope it's not just you house-sorting, ruby - delegate, delegate, delegate!

Am hoping that DH and I can go out for brunch tomorrow on our own, as DS is going to help at footy holiday-club with his mate (who is here on a sleepover) and DD is currently at a sleepover party (hopefully they will be up late!)

MrsSchadenfreude · 30/05/2013 22:05

I cannot remember if I have bored you all with the story of DD1, the school counsellor, and her determination that DD1 was failing maths? We have just got DD1's standardised test results through, and she scored "high" for the vast majority of the tests in maths, with "high average" for those she didn't. She is on the 81st centile for maths and WAY above the school average. So why am I paying for extra coaching?

bigTillyMint · 30/05/2013 22:06

Yes, MrsS, any news on that front?

MrsSchadenfreude · 30/05/2013 22:07

Re the interview, they contacted me, said very reasonably that it was their fault as they had advertised the interview dates as being 1st week in June. They will have a think about it and get back to me, but said it was not their intention to ruin my holiday!

bigTillyMint · 30/05/2013 22:08

What is a school counsellor?
Presumably not the same as the ones we have here?

bigTillyMint · 30/05/2013 22:09

Fab re interview, MrsSSmile

Will you be gracing MI's partay with your prescence?

MrsSchadenfreude · 30/05/2013 22:16

Sadly not, BTM. Sad I was also asked to apply for another job yesterday as well, so all hope is not lost.

You sure are ruby!

I spent almost 2 hours sorting and shredding 10 years worth of bumpf today. I have a list of other jobs that need doing tomorrow

Hags, do you all have lives or something? I had the day off today and baked for Britain, for the school fete.

AB is still wittering at me to prove I haven't spent any money from one of my budgets... Do I write him a declaration? "I certify that I have spent no money from this budget?" It is a travel budget, and he says I must have spent at least some of it, but I haven't. Hmm I now want to claim some of it back, but can't until he approves my allocation...we are just going round in circles here.

bigTillyMint · 31/05/2013 18:25

God MrsS is there no end to his arseyness?

Re next Saturday, what are folks travel plans? ETA's?
Am wondering about a quick drink bite to eat to line our stomachs along the lane before we board the 185?

motherinferior · 31/05/2013 19:06

I am planning to make curry...

CointreauVersial · 31/05/2013 21:38

I have 8th June in my diary, but have made no other plans......but would love to come along if I'm invited to the crepey gatecrash

motherinferior · 31/05/2013 21:46

Of course. Our house is truly decrepit but if you can stand that please do come!
