Shop, I tried that maxi on in whistles. It did nothing for me as the gathered waist added inches to my hips.

I just got an American apparel tube maxi. Think its the one amber mentioned up thread. 100% cotton too.

I have seen quite a few slebs, living in London, but always forget them. Seen a lot of musicians who were big in the 90s, bobby Gillespie, Bernard butler, Louise wener, graham coxon, John power.

I'd love to see Kate moss. Was it you, anni? Bet she looks amazing.

My most recent was Sue Pollard and the lady from Birds of a Feather. Actually, I see them all the time. I live in a very glamorous area . Work near TV studios so see loads of celebs like Myleene Klass. Best was running into Bill Clinton in New York.

Ryan Tubridy was doing some cover on Radio 2 last summer (for Graham Norton, perhaps, maybe there is a rule about having to have Irish people on ). When back in Ireland, I like to catch up with the Late, Late, but still find it odd that it's not GB presenting (showing my age!) Agree that he seems a nice person.

Morning all. Big retailer MD meeting today. Wish me luck. Wearing blue A&W chinos, cream silk shirt, nude LKB Floretes and Reiss scarf, Mulberry Bayswater. Hope it's smart enough. Not sure if I should be wearing a dress but the weather is lousy again.

Liberty, I'm jealous, I love Dara O'Briain. Topaz, GB lived nearby and his daughter was in my class, my granny was thrilled!

I have met some members of U2. The Baldwins and Howard Stern (!) went to my gym in New York and I sat at the table beside Hugh Grant. I was in the lounge in JFK waiting for a flight and Robbie Williams was beside us. DH was mortified as I kept walking past him to have a look. Also they filmed Sex and the City near my friend's apartment so saw SJP and co a couple of times. David Schwimmer was filming a movie near where I lived and they shut down the area, which put me in a big temper. Rudolph Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg had offices in my building so took the lift with them a couple of times. I normally never recognise anyone until after they've gone by. A couple live around here, including Anneka Rice. I wish she'd wear her jumpsuit.

Dry cobalt is one of my fave colours, though am an Autumn so not supposed to wear it

I don't get to do much sleb spotting where I live but am v good friends with a famous sportsperson. Was once on children's quiz show hosted by Darren Day though .

Morning all! I have a little anecdote for you. Ds overdid it on milk last night and bless him, he puked all over my suit as I was late so didn't get the chance to change. I felt very glam wiping the puke of my Armani jacket and dress straight to the dry cleaner this morning! He's absolutely fine.

It was me that saw kate moss. She's actually fairly ordinary looking irl but I love her more for that. She was with her daughter and Jamie. What shocked me is she's short (well not short exactly but she is by supermodel standards) and has bandy legs. Dh and friends had to stop me stalking her all way round the park .

Trying to have a month off new purchases as I've got a couple of hours shopping in Birmingham at the beginning of July so I want to be able to justify to dh that I can buy stuff then. I've been whingeing lately that he's working so much but as he says I can't have him at home lots and have £80 tops. Fair point.

queenc i've learned to time my purchases with periods when DH is super busy or away a lot. i never keep things secret but timing is everything i find

am LOVING the 'sales tactics' board, spaghetti!

Sorry on BB so can't see back easily. Blond I bought M in the Wang tops. I'm size 12 on top with 32E chest and they both fit well. Not too fitted, not too baggy.

Meant to say Wang tees are a slub fabric, lightweight and when new the slub rubs off a bit. Not sure if I'm making sense. Basically a lovely soft but textured fabric.
