Thanks Foxy, I know, not sure on the blue and have a dark green already. But really wanted another one. The grey is lovely.

Hi, thanks for the support. Politician was lovely person and very smart. My nervousness about the outfit was ridiculous Blush, as a senior woman I normally like to celebrate my femininity rather than be conventional but suddenly had attack of nervesBlush

Oh Novice how did I miss that post! Well done I am glad it went so well. I think it's normal to have an attack of nerves in such situations, and usually they transfer to something physical or clothing. For me anyway!

changed my mind after checking my tees/tops sitch - I think the indigo will actually be better as it will mean I can wear my collection of grey tanks/tees with it! so have ordered along with this lovely tee

Hi, I've been a bit of a lurker for a while but learned tons so have joined up! I've posted separately but thought you ladies might be in the know about premium denim!

I need a 36" inside leg and I'm determined to buy some decent jeans that don't go baggy at a first wear. Anyone know any premium denim labels that go as long as a 36"? I'm in Glasgow so any stores there or online are do-able or alternatively (and I think this will be my best bet!) I'm off to the USA soon so could buy there or order online for delivery.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

Bloody hell LLL your legs would come up to my neck! Paige are pretty good for super long jeans I think. It's not my area of expertise as I'm usually looking for a 28

shop may be better placed to advise...

Nice one Foxy the slub tee is fab.
Well done Novice can you PM me to tell me anymore - I'm very curious! Or share when we meet?
Blimey LL (and welcome) ! - I can't advise to a 36 i"m afraid. I wear a 33 leg ideally. The longest jeans I own are my J Brand High rise Sashas which wrinkle a bit at the ankle so could look good as skinny crops on you. here
Some old V pocket 7FAM jeans which trail the floor and a pair of REALLY ancient GAP flares. 7FAM definitely good for tall people.
I know not premium but don't TopShop do tall jeans in their range?

Excellent Foxy we'll probably both end up preferring the indigo anyway. Love the tee too.

Thanks Santa! I know thinking about the dress still.

Hi LLL fabulous legs Grin. Not sure as pretty much all my jeans are cropped. But I guess check the details, bit dull. Stick around. Smile

am getting buyers remorse. the skirt might not be able to stay. I wonder whether to cancel whole order now or at least try on?

have ordered the shoes of deliciousness after confirmation from DH that the yoga course can come out of house budget not mine

hi LLL! my longest jeans are from paige, i think, but have never actually measured my inside leg so not sure that will help! will do it later and report back Wink

Welcome LLL, have you looked on the outnet?

You get to see the actual measurements of the jeans, not what they're supposed to be iykwim.

Or how about emailing or ringing Donna Ida?

Then you'll get an idea what to look for, in the US.

Lovely shopping everyone.
Envy for Foxy's shoes.

I've no news, apart from the fact that I fell down the stairs yesterday, whilst carrying ds2.

He is fine, he was on top of me as we slid down about 5 stairs.
We both had a good cry though afterwards.
And I'm rather bruised and achy today.

I just want to be well

I ordered some more jeans yesterday from Yoox to make myself feel better :o

Poor you anni. Hope you're ok.

foxy nice shoes.

longlegs 36 inches?? How tall are you just out of interest? My legs are a pathetic 31 inches so can be of no help whatsoever.

novice I'm intrigued. Feel free to pm me too!

one how's the hair? Do we get to see photos? After putting a red semi permanent on my hair at 18 and it turning a shade of pink that took 6 months to grow out I am never touching hair colour again!

Have I forgotten anyone?

Anni Poor you and DS2. Falling down stairs is such a horrible shock. Hope jeans aid your recovery Smile

Love all the Wang Stuff, especially Amber's rallying cry of 'serious Wang'!

Glad your meeting went well Novice

Foxy I love those shoes!

I have just offloaded some clothes onto my best friend. They were all coral and coral does not suit me so I feel no guilt now they have gone to a good home and I can buy more stuff in cobalt and fuchsia

Foxy lovely lovely shoes, if you can afford it try the skirt and send back if no good. If you can't - cancel the order.
I wish I listened to my own advice sometimes (awaits Outnet order containing two leather jackets)

Thank you all so much for warm welcome, leg compliments Wink and denim suggestions!

I do love my super long legs but trousers, shorts etc can be an issue! Will get looking at J Brand, 7FAM, Paige, Donna Ida and the Outnet.

Shop - Topshop do tall stuff long enough but all their jeans now seem to be jeggings and I really want a pair of proper denim ones. Next also do but they go so baggy so quickly.

I think I can get Gap USA online delivered for when I'm on holiday but was really wanting to treat myself to a decent pair and maybe get some Gap ones for every day.

ouch anni, poor you. rest up today!

good idea to call donna ida for LLL, they are so lovely and helpful there

shop I can just about afford to keep shoes, tee and skirt for this months spends. JUST. but if I don't I would have more leeway for the imminent sales.
