Woo hoo! Over here.........

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 15/05/2013 14:24

Paris it was me who linked those trainers.....have just realised that if I sell my stuff on Ebay I can justify buying another pair of trainers I don't need Grin
Ok....I have a pile of stuff to photo....will give you all an update later.

Btw I am wearing my new Addidas gazelles (in the house) with SOCKS it's so cold......completely lost their coolness worn like this I think Sad

Hopefully · 15/05/2013 14:30

Shop the last one is black isn't it? . I love the first one the most, although two also pretty good.

Went into town today and was Shock at some of the prices v quality. Places like Ted baker are really getting towards Joseph/By Malene Birger kind of prices, for crap fabric and quality. 160 quid for pure polyester? I think not.

santamarianovella · 15/05/2013 14:42

Shop get this ! I saw it the other day it's lovelymaxmara

Sleepwhenidie · 15/05/2013 14:49

Hi all, just back, took a detour down Marylebone High St on the way home, via Austique, Sandro and Matches . The one good thing about the rubbish weather is that I am not at all inclined to buy any lovely summery stuff, which the shops are full of. Tried on a stunning Stella McCartney dress in Matches. If only I had an occasion (or several) to justify spending £995 on a dress Grin.

Still like the 1st jacket best Shop, 2nd one nice too though. 3rd definitely last choice but I couldn't say specifically why Confused.

Love that Marant dress Franca

I am a bit of an AllSaints fan Paris - often annoyed by the crap quality though Hmm, you have to choose carefully I think, avoid anything with lots of seams - that AS stuff often has Smile.

Novice was it you looking for coloured heels? They have some lovely ones in Malene Birger but suede.

santamarianovella · 15/05/2013 14:56

omg sleep i was at marylebone high street around noon, went to boots and a quick shop at waitrose !

shopafrolic · 15/05/2013 15:39

Santa lovely but too £££ for me.
The third one calls itself grey Hopefully but I agree not great. So the brown is no longer available in my size on Outnet and they say they won't be getting any more in....I've ordered my second and third choice to take a look as at half price I have to try them.
I'm hoping the warmer grey works as although I'm not supposed to I do still wear a lot of grey and have found it harder to be parted from that than black.
I'm tempted to call the store and ask them to hold the brown one for me for a few days until the others arrive......At this rate I won't have a jacket to wear at all on Saturday other than my puffa. Although in this weather perhaps that won't be a bad thing!

Ooh santa you are awful!!Grin that Maxmara jacket is gorgeous!!!!!shop we could time share?!

shopafrolic · 15/05/2013 16:50

It's gorgeous isn't it, unfortunately Dry just like my DS with Thomas TT, I'm no good at sharing :)
They're holding the brown one in-store for me until my Outnet order arrives so I can choose. Fab customer service again from the Dressing Room!

Ohhh my j crew tank is here and lovely. Can't believe it was £10 delivered from the states, the packaging and post must have cost that much. The fit is perfect. going to be so useful if the weather ever bloody warms up.

Am this >< close to ordering those pointy yellow DvF flats with my matches voucher. Still haven't found anything I love as much.

MarshaBrady · 15/05/2013 17:25

Foxy do it! I think they're great, you can always return if not fabulous.

Sleep Stella M dress sounds great, which one was it? I have a Stella M dress, I'm not sure it is exactly me, but stuff it it's SM so will wear it.

Paris lol yes that's a good look Grin.

Offset cold ankles with citrus bright acne angora scarf and Bruno tweed. At least I'm finally getting to wear a scarf and no coat!

OneLittleLady · 15/05/2013 17:37

I may be making a huge mistake right at this moment. I have decided in my oh so wise mind, that bright purple hair is the only think that's going to lift my spirits so I'm sat here with bleach on my hair as my hair is dark enough to need pre lightening so that bright colours will take. I feel 18 again Grin

MarshaBrady · 15/05/2013 18:08

OneLittle! Report back when done!

Franca that Marant dress is gorgeous.

OneLittleLady · 15/05/2013 18:17

All I can report thus far is that my hair has orange and PINK! DP is bringing emergency dye on his way home!

OneLittleLady · 15/05/2013 18:18

has turned orange and PINK

LinusDKD · 15/05/2013 18:44

One you are one brave lady! A DYI hairdye disaster when I was 17 means I have never been brave enough to try again.

Now that I have bought quite a lot (ok, a lot) of new clothes I have realised I also need some new knickers.

What brands do you recommend? I don't want to spend too much (I am planning on losing some weight once DD goes to nursery in August and I can start excercising) but I would like something nice.

I love these Stella McC. briefs (such a beautiful colour) but they are too expensive for everyday wear and I am damned if I am going to handwash my underwear.

briefs

foxysocks · 15/05/2013 18:47

i just wear nude boyshorts from john lewis. cheap (i think £10 for 5 pairs) and comfortable. would rather save the ££ for other things!

LinusDKD · 15/05/2013 18:54

Foxy's mention of DVF reminded me of these for hopefully

dvf pointy courts

shopafrolic · 15/05/2013 19:31

Lots of lingerie on the Outnet if you want Stella, Elle and Rigby & P. I bought last sets from M&S and Bravissimo - tend to wear nude so that there's nothing visible. Am off to check out the John Lewis shorts though as they sound bargainous.

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 15/05/2013 19:33

I do M&S too, midi short or something. And supermarket socks. I always find lots of other things to spend £ on first.

MarshaBrady · 15/05/2013 19:35

The Stella ones are a gorgeous colour.

santamarianovella · 15/05/2013 19:51

linus,i have two sets of stell m underwear ,and they are awful, very unflattering, specially the bras. i love calvin klein, they do the best pushup bra IMO,

LinusDKD · 15/05/2013 20:04

I will have a look at John Lewis and M&S, but as I live abroad I won't be able to try them on so it will be a bit of a gamble.

Calvin Klein I will be able to try on in our local department store.

santa I have the same problem with Agent Provocateur underwear. Sooo uncomfortable even though they were the right size when DH bought them for me many years ago and the fabric is soo itchy.

Ah bras, I will eventually have to get some new ones as well but I will have to get fitted because after two DC they are not as 'firm' as they once were. Sad

BrandyAlexander · 15/05/2013 20:15

Omg One! Shock

Sleep, I like those. The yellow one is great. Grin

I am all bloated and pmt-ish and I am so not in a clothes mood at the moment. I wore a trouser suit today because I wanted to keep warm. It's May for goodness sake!!

Hopefully · 15/05/2013 20:15

Linus I treated myself to some AP underwear once and it was spectacularly itchy.

DVF courts lovely, but too pastel for me. Am giving up hope on the shoe front!

I wear M&S no VPL pants and usually Panache or Freya bras, in varying degrees of nude - can't abide visible underwear.

Drywhiteplease · 15/05/2013 20:24

Clear out ping pong.......going ok ish , the thing is I'm v attached to my clothes and keep getting all sentimental. Perhaps I'll just Ebay DH's Churches instead Grin.... Must be strong.
I'm usually great at declutter ing everyone else's stuff but this is difficult. Do you lot hold on to stuff even if you haven't worn it for years? I must be strong...................
