Liberty and Santa hope you have lovely weekends away, come to the next one!

shopafrolic · 14/05/2013 14:23

Oh what to do!? I live 20 min drive from station at this end, need to be in Earl's Court AM, then our meet. Will figure it out. My friends say I'm no different drunk or sober...... not sure if that's a compliment....

Yoox order is here, which is brilliant, considering I only ordered on Sunday.

The Hudson beth crop jeans are fab for £50, I need to try them without a clinging toddler but probably keepers.

The Carly's are lovely but too small :(

And the Signature's are lovely but too loose on my leg and the smaller size (which has a Donna Ida label on it) won't go over my thighs unfortunately.

And the McQ wrap and cuffs... wtf was I thinking?!
So not me, going straight back.

I also ordered some nude ballet flats with a silver toe, that someone started a thread about from Dune's ebay shop...
And they are fab for £25.

Annianni · 14/05/2013 14:25

Shop... you need to get pissed have a few drinks.

Can dh not take you to the station?

What's the fc jacket called?

shopafrolic · 14/05/2013 14:25

Good call about waiting till prefall stock is in Santa - the challenge is if it keeps raining like this I have no outerwear. Can you link the marant one just so I can look enviously?
This is the FC one for those who said link not working

I don't do photos either Marsha

The hassle I had trying to keep my wedding photos off bloody facebook... We only had 15 guests and most of them were kids Angry

Annianni · 14/05/2013 14:31

I like that jacket Shop.

Hope you have a good weekend Liberty

Annianni · 14/05/2013 14:32

Welcome Ruby please stay :)

OneLittleLady · 14/05/2013 14:35

I seem to get snapped on camera alarmingly often. I look so much like my Mum in pictures it's a little odd. I never thought I looked much like her but photos would beg to differ

MarshaBrady · 14/05/2013 14:47

Anni going off piste / no photo can be tougher than keeping a sleb's wedding off the DM Grin. Luckily my wedding was ages ago and I think most friends who attended don't do FB.

One I manage to look like both my parents, at the same time. Nuts.

Shop I like it. As long as you're ok with collarless. I like the way it's styled on the FC site too.

MarshaBrady · 14/05/2013 14:49

Shop yes to lift to station with your dh. Then Earl's Court must only be a few stops away from our mu.

OneLittleLady · 14/05/2013 14:51

Oddly, Marsha , I also look a lot like my Grandma on my dad's side. I look nothing like what I remember of my dad though (haven't seen or heard from him since I was around 7) I think it depends on the angle I'm caught from.

santamarianovella · 14/05/2013 14:54

Its thisshop
marsha i hardly have any photos,
Packages and more packages are arriving!,sleep the lace dress is really beautiful, was planing to wear it this weekend, but it's very unlikely.

OneLittleLady · 14/05/2013 14:57

oh, that jacket is lovely santa

santamarianovella · 14/05/2013 15:06

one,I'm a mixture of my dad and mum,DH says I'm like my mom but with my dads eyes, which to be honest is a very accurate description.

Really lovely de la renta sandals on the outnet.

shopafrolic · 14/05/2013 15:12

That is lovely Santa but I'd like full length sleeves.
This in brown would be good www.day.dk/uk/uk/day/day-cardie_1849939/1849947?navId=90

Talking was fine. Cycling to lunch in the pouring rain and smarten ing myself up in the ladies beforehand was less fine. Angry at the stupid weather.

God, I need to buy some clothes. I had a choice of two cardigans today (the third and only other one in my life being cream and therefore unsuitable for rainy cycling), one of which is completely old and tired and has really utterly had it, and the other one of which was virtually exactly the same colour as my dress and therefore extremely dull. Footwear choice was, ermmm, suede boots or suede boots.

Hopefully · 14/05/2013 15:36

And let me make it clear that I wasn't making a choice between two pairs of suede boots, I just only have one vaguely civilised choice when it comes to footwear for cycling in the rain.

santamarianovella · 14/05/2013 16:02

Ohhhh ,I haven't thought of day birger, they always have lovely leather jackets,it's lovely shopsports max have really lovely ones, but I can't find them on the website.

Drywhiteplease · 14/05/2013 16:03

Paris hope your dog is ok
Novice Little children are so easily distracted, it's far worse for the mothers who leave with the picture of a crying child in their mind all day.

My maxi skirt arrived from DP, v cheap and just what I wanted but even the petite touches the floor!
I saw this clutch yesterday. I need a black suede clutch and would wear it a lot. It's v plain but that will make it versatile. What do you think? Could I get cheaper ?

Drywhiteplease · 14/05/2013 16:06

Ooooh answering my own question Grin
this is nicer I think

Hopefully · 14/05/2013 16:06

Oh and QueenC random point we talk about on the style day is that generally light colours need to be more expensive (better quality) to have the same appearance of quality as darker colours, which might be why you are wondering about your white belt? Every bit of stitching and grain etc is visible on a light colour and just isn't on a dark, so needs to be more perfect.

I am writing a shopping list. It is long.

Drywhiteplease · 14/05/2013 16:31

Hopefully are we ever going to see your cycling outfit from your blog?wink

Drywhiteplease · 14/05/2013 16:31

Or rather Wink

shopafrolic · 14/05/2013 16:31
