I have black. Would never have chosen but were S1s originally.

If you replaced yours what would you get?

Nehru I'd never have gone for white, only got them to wear on my wedding day (I don't really like wearing shoes!) and have worn them sooooo much since, I love them! Make feet look lovely and tanned, too.

I've just bought black soled with a muted gold strap. They're thin strapped and don't have the brazil flag on them they just say Haviannas in gold.

They are lovely and go with everything. Got them in Office and I think they were £25.99

Do you wear them as everyday footwear in summer or just on holiday?

Forgot to say, I have a black pair and hot pink, but the latter are a bit disappointing; started to look quite grubby quite fast.

They are worth the money; very comfortable and thick cushioned soles, so you don't feel as though you're jarring with every step as you do with thinner cheaper ones.

I have the white ones with the fleg. Got them a few years ago and some of my friends were all "twenty quid for flip flops?!". Then they tried them on- flip flop heaven. Still v comfy and have held up wear wise, but do need a bit of a wash.... Do you think they'd be alright in the washing machine?

I have a black pair and the pair before these were brown.
Think the brown were a bit nicer on my pasty feet.

They are expensive but worth it - they last forever and seem to be comfy right up to the end, when the pattern inside has worn out and the edges are worn away. I wear mine every day as I live in a very hot country. I have washed mine and they were fine at 30C, came out very clean Grin

Silver, goes with everything, gorgeous with a tan and pretty nail varnish. I have silver ones with grey soles with turquoise trailing flower design and similar with hot pink soles with flowers. Grey more versatile but both lovely. Don't get white, shows dirt too easily! Gold is lovely too and I am ever so tempted by electric blue/neon shades I saw the other day. Decided they were definitely holiday wear only though, somehow they seem much more casual than silver Confused, I am aware of how ridiculous that sounds, given they are flip flops but..Grin

Have got black slim fit ones which I love, the most comfy flipflop ever. Silver ones are on their way from asos as I type .

I haven't had to wash my white ones yet and they have stayed really clean looking, amazing as I've worn them to death. They aren't the same material as the accessorize ones that really do pick up dirt. I might wash them now I've read you can though! Grr this thread is bad- I've been encouraged to buy more! Going to get the black I think...

I tramp around London streets in mine so perhaps they get filthier than others Grin, also very lazy about washing them so not the best combo!

GwendolineMaryLacey · 06/05/2013 16:50

I don't get these. I have a pair and they look and feel like any old two quid jobs.

do they not rub inbetween your toes ive had similar in the pass but bin them after the toe blister comes

Report
LadyClariceCannockMonty · 06/05/2013 17:40

I usually get toe blisters but no, Havaianas don't do that. They're more comfy than most flip-flops; the soles are thick and firm so there's no jarring, but they're also soft and comfortable and your feet don't slide about in them/get sweaty as they do in cheap plasticky ones.

I have navy and another pair in pink. Navy looks great with skinnies, utilities and chinos.

I like the sound of dark brown though.

I love the leather strap ones I have seen, they are my next purchase.

I've got brown ones and also some teal green ones that are lovely.
