Yes.

Yes it is.

I want one with long or 3/4 sleeves.

Not jersey.

In a size 16.

Not too pricy.

Can you help?

No.

tethersend · 23/04/2013 21:09

I thought as much.

This isn't going well.

I got a beautiful two layered on just now from Next, but it doesn't have sleeves. Hang on, I shall try to learn how to do links.

www.next.co.uk/g3844s2#772267g38 this one. Looks much more special and expensive than the price tag.

Oh God no please no return to the bloody nightie look.

sirtoffeedoris · 23/04/2013 21:27

Peachy keen

sirtoffeedoris · 23/04/2013 21:30

Bit of jersey, bit of morticia

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/04/2013 21:30

I saw a woman wearing one last year that was nearly grazing the floor and it looked really nice.

She held herself nicely though and was very well groomed, I think it helps. Plus the fabric draped beautifully.

coffeeinbed · 23/04/2013 21:37

this

coffeeinbed · 23/04/2013 21:41

Sorry, it's jersey.

tethersend · 23/04/2013 21:43

God, there's bugger all out there...

I want a relatively fitted one, but not too clingy, no crazy drapey bits of fabric masquerading as sleeves. Apart from on STD's first link which I am buying at once, obv.

I definitely have to have sleeves- I don't do shrugs and cardis. They make me upset.

Thanks all for trying. It's slim pickings.

Why not jersey? The Baukjen one looks lovely; the others are polyester monstrosities.

sirtoffeedoris · 23/04/2013 21:57

takes a bow knew I'd sussed it

just linking willeeee nilleee now

proona

actually meant to link to this one earlier (I like them. I am trying to find an occasion where I could carry off looking like a penitent medieval nun. If there was such a thing, and faffing about in a hairshirt wasn't just a job for the boys at that time)

Slainte · 23/04/2013 22:01

this from Monsoon.

tethersend · 24/04/2013 09:55

I do have quite a few vintage ones, but fancy a new one. I'll do a proper ebay trawl, thanks.

Remus, ideally I'd like cotton, but that just doesn't exist. I don't mind a bit of polyester Grin I've got a couple of jersey maxis and I'm just not feeling them. So to speak.

Eliza22 · 24/04/2013 10:03

Love the Baukjen one but alas, I'm have too many "curves" for it now I've hit the menopause!

tethersend · 24/04/2013 11:24

Any other ideas...?

OP posts:
tethersend · 24/04/2013 17:17

Oh. The thread died on its arse.

Probably no point bumping.

Nobody cares

Maybe it wasn't time after all...

OP posts:
scarlet76 · 24/04/2013 17:37

Lol...
I want a petite length one
size 6 or 8
Preferably sleeveless
preferably cotton
black, purple or striped

tethersend · 24/04/2013 17:43

You're not helping, scarlet!

OP posts:
coffeeinbed · 24/04/2013 19:12

Well, I was so desperate I made myself one last year.

Which isn't helping either.

AuntieMaggie · 24/04/2013 19:26

Awww I bought a nice jersey striped one in primark and a black one in asda :o no sleeves though
