India Knight was raving about it in the ST Style magazine this week - the article is at the link above. I am tempted but it's £150.....

Any views/opinions???

I have one and love it !! Boots apparently do a cheaper version but not tried it so have no idea if it is the same. Used to suffer from persistent hormonal spots on chin but seem to have stopped since I have been using the clarisonic.

Annianni · 09/04/2013 14:33

Gwyneth said it was good on her blog.

Marylou2 · 09/04/2013 14:44

Love mine. Had it for 18 months and it's transformed my skin. Blemishes and blackheads all gone. I have the mia and I'm sure you can get those for less than £150.

JennySense · 09/04/2013 16:05

I've just got one and have used it 3 times so far so it's a bit early to say - I managed to grab a Mia for the bargain price of £53 on Ebay [brand new!]

RugbyWidow7 · 09/04/2013 16:20

Ooh I really want one but can't justify it at the moment!! Urgh such hormonal skin!

SoldeInvierno · 09/04/2013 16:27

I have been using mine for over a year and I love it. My skin is 10 times better than it was

LulaPalooza · 09/04/2013 17:07

Does it get rid of milia? I used to have terrible skin which has got better with age. I still get the occasional zit and a couple of blackheads but recently I have developed a few milia on each cheek. Think they're caused by MAC blusher as that's the only new product I've introduced to my face in a while.

Birdies · 09/04/2013 17:15

What's the difference between the Mia and the other types? Thanks

SoldeInvierno · 09/04/2013 17:50

Lula, I have one millia and unfortunately it has not got rid of it.

BadSpellersUntie · 09/04/2013 19:25

Just ordered the Mia in Coral from Clarisonic website for £99 so looking forward to trying it.

The mia just has the one speed - I considered the full on £170 one but decided i dont actually need various generic pots of their own brand cleanser, a body brush attachment or 3 speeds. So we shall see

bluebump · 09/04/2013 19:48

I have one, I got the Plus which has the body brush for £140 in January. I love it, it has calmed my skin down loads and I hardly ever get any breakouts nowadays which is a great result in such a short space of time.

titan · 09/04/2013 19:53

I also have the Mia. I use it in the shower every morning. My skin definitely feels cleaner and my pores are smaller so I would recommend it.

libertychick · 09/04/2013 22:09

Ohhh thanks everyone - seems very positive. I am in the process of persuading DH it's a household expense as he could use it too!!

I have a cheapo Tesco version, it's just a facial brush. It does work really well, don't know if it compares to the Clarisonic.

There is an Olay facial brush system called Pro X you can get on eBay for about £25 as well that is similar.

BeaLola · 09/04/2013 23:56

I have the Mia 2 Speed one (decided agains tbuying the body one as it was tooo expensive).

I love it - easy to use & I have definitely had less spots/pimples & whilst my skin was ok it feels much better now too.

RugbyWidow7 · 10/04/2013 06:53

What cleanser do you use with it? Does it have it's own which you have to buy (add to the cost) or can you use any? Thanks - still trying to justify ;-)

RugbyWidow7 · 10/04/2013 06:54

Badspellers please let us know how you get on...

AlwaysReadyForABlether · 10/04/2013 07:07

I have the Plus and I love it. The body brush has really helped withe the bumpt skin on the tops of my arms and the back of my thighs.
You can use any cleanser with it. I didn't use the one that comes with it because I am allergic to loads of stuff. I just use whichever cleanser and shower gel I have on the go.
I have seen the No 7 version in Boots and it looks exactly the same but I don't know how effective it is.

parasaurolophus · 10/04/2013 11:01

I swear by the Mia. I've been using it for over a month and my skin looks great. All the blackheads are gone and my skin tone is more even. My pores are smaller.

I took a lot of teasing from DH at first for using a vibrator on my face, but even he noticed it was working and said my skin looks really good.

I use a clinique face wash.

MadBraLady · 10/04/2013 11:06

Does anyone who has rosacea use it? I read mixed opinions about this. I don't get spots really, just some bad blackheads and open pores, not sure I want to swap them for worse rosacea!

LulaPalooza · 10/04/2013 12:20

SoldeInvierno thanks, I thought that might be the case. I might get one when/ if I have some spare cash (ha ha) but in the meantime I think I need to see a proper dermatologist to get these buggers removed. Sigh.

twolittlemonkeys · 10/04/2013 16:03

I just bought the Boots No7 facial brush as I'd read quite a few reviews which rated it highly and said it was almost as good as the Clarisonic. I cannot justify spending £120 on the Clarisonic but will let you all know how I get on with the £25 No7 one! Am going to use it with the No7 Melting Gel Cleanser (No7 stuff was on a 3 for 2 when I went there to buy it so I figured I may as well!)

Birdies · 10/04/2013 16:04

Is it better to use the melting gel than their hot cloth cleanser? I'm tempted by the no 7 one too but might wait to hear how you get on with it first!
