Hotter shoes??

I know I should be ashamed to be even looking, but I need comfy summer shoes. Something to go with casual summer dresses.

Please bear in mind that I have no desire to be fashionable or even particularly stylish, just to look OK Smile (and be comfortable) Blush

They're awful. I like comfortable shoes too. But.... there are limits. Keep looking.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/04/2013 20:08

Oh dear. No - just no.

Try Gabor - some of them are fairly inoffensive.

SofaCanary · 05/04/2013 20:09

Christ no!

tigerdriverII · 05/04/2013 20:09

Weeeelllll.

For Hotter ( who keep blooming sending me catalogues WTF) that's ok. Only the teal. And I think they would wear out/ go like boats very quickly, which for the price....

olivertheoctopus · 05/04/2013 20:10

Revolting. These are the most comfortable pumps ever and far less twee

Hush Puppies Janessa

In essence there are plenty of alternatives that arw far more stylish

OneLittleLady · 05/04/2013 20:27

Oh no. no. They are awful, sorry

Gales · 05/04/2013 20:29

Ok, I get it Grin

Althings, flat doesn't automatically mean comfortable though - there's no way those synthetic thin soled shoes are comfortable.

Have you tried gel insoles? Primark sell them specifically for flat shoes, they could be worth a look?

ItsAllTLAsToMe · 05/04/2013 20:33

The pumps that Oliver linked to are ridiculously comfy, I have them in black. Leather as well.

Gales · 05/04/2013 20:37

Yes, I like those ItsAll

ItsAllTLAsToMe · 05/04/2013 20:42

They really are great, they don't feel anything like normal pumps. They're not the most fashionable pumps, but they're 10x as comfortable, and will last 10x as long.

MrsDoomsPatterson · 05/04/2013 20:45

Jesus, great if you're going for Henry VIII's jester's job. Not so great in 2013.

Birkenstock?!

travel they are awful. And I am the only person not to say the first ones were a disaster.

Bunbaker · 05/04/2013 20:53

I really like those TravelinColour. I wouldn't have guessed they were Hotter.

Bunbaker · 05/04/2013 20:53

The first ones

MrsDoomsPatterson · 05/04/2013 20:56

Step away from Hotter. They couldn't be any colder.

I'll get me coat.

My horrendous bunions, which are only getting worse, leave me very few shoe options. I am now down to ecco, m and s footglove wide fitting and hotter. And so the choice tends towards the granny. Much as i would love to wear more stylish shoes, i just can't. If you're not forced towards these type of shoes, OP, don't buy them! I would go for the ones you've linked to in your OP, but if you dont have problem feet, then shop around. I completely agree with you about the very flat hush puppies though, shoes as flat as that would be agony for me.

piprabbit · 05/04/2013 22:27

Have a look at Shoon, they do a lot of comfy ranges. Some look better than others.

tigerdriverII · 05/04/2013 23:21

happy. I have a bunion too. I don't like to admit it but probably it will have to be treated.
