I always though fashion blogs were for teenagers but am realising this isn't the case! I desperately need someone to copy inspiration and guidance so what blogs would you recommend for me? I liked the "does my bum look 40" one but keen to check out some others too if poss!

hellohellohihi · 10/02/2013 12:57

Thanks.

A couple of these seem a bit, well, 40ish (no offence!) so am looking a some that might be a few years younger??

Also, high street everyday stuff is more what I'm after!!

TrampyPants · 10/02/2013 13:26

there are loads of Blogs to be found here

IKWYM though, I hate it when bloggers talk about thrifty and affordable, then wear gucci or a mulberry bag.

MrsCampbellBlack · 10/02/2013 13:38

If you are on the mn bloggers network think its safe to say your own blog.

I do a collaborative one with other s&b'ers here but may be one of the ones you've thought was too old [chagrin] Wink

Hanne really loves blogs - ask her for her faves Wink

HanneHolm · 10/02/2013 13:39

was that the blog that had to go underground ?!! Wink

MrsCampbellBlack · 10/02/2013 13:43

yes we are stealth bloggers - so many reports everytime it was mentioned Wink

TrampyPants · 10/02/2013 13:44

Mrs, I love the allwornout blog Grin I know that hq are pretty strict now about links, this might be it though

HanneHolm · 10/02/2013 13:44

do you wear a "breton" stripey top to keep you incognito?

MrsCampbellBlack · 10/02/2013 13:46

Did you use the 'b' word in s&b! You know what'll happen now don't you?

HanneHolm · 10/02/2013 13:47

ill have to prat around in front of my mirror?

TrampyPants · 10/02/2013 13:48

Hanne, nah. Don't own a breton top. The necks look weird.

HanneHolm · 10/02/2013 13:49

lol

Trills · 10/02/2013 13:53

I think we need to know a lot more about you than your age to know what you would like.

I also think you seem a little more fixated on age than you should be.

Some people your age dress "like teenagers". Other people your age will dress "40ish". And vice versa. There will be 40-something who dress "younger" than you want to, and people in their mid20s who dress "older" than you would like to.

Dress sense and style choices are about a lot more than age.

TrampyPants · 10/02/2013 14:01

Trills is right. It depends on what style you are, whether you are high or low maintenance, whether you like primarily or prada.

Schoolgate Style is well written and features good photos. I don't follow many style blogs, and I do like them to be more than just a photo and a quick list of what they are wearing and where they bought it.

TrampyPants · 10/02/2013 14:24

Mme, yes. Some are very dull. But some are really great.

MmeLindor · 10/02/2013 14:31

This is my new favourite blog and not just cause it is a friend who writes it.

HanneHolm · 10/02/2013 14:31

really?

MmeLindor · 10/02/2013 14:34

Yes, I like her writing style, and the way she doesn't just blog her outfit 'This is what I am wearing today' but creates a little story around it.

Her photos aren't great but when she gets her new camera, they will be better.
