Does anyone else hate 3/4 length sleeves as much as I do?

I can't stand them - but nearly everything has 3/4 length sleeves now, when are they going to get over this fad??? I hate it when you put a cardi on over a top with 3/4 sleeves (and you have to, because you're cold) and they just ride up inside the cardi sleeve, it's so uncomfortable. I'm really cross now.

I love them because they suit me much better than full length sleeves do.

I'm with you OP. I hate them with a passion. I have really long monkey arms anyway so it's dead hard to find stuff that is a full sleeve. I DREAM of having cuffs that actually come over my wrists and halfway up my hand and make me look less gangly, more dainty.

I'm buying maternity wear at the moment and everything is buggering 3/4 length sleeves gah!

I just don't buy them. I have wide shoulders so I think I need long sleeves to balance me out. It's quite a useful filtering method. Loads of tops (and I do mainly buy tops), I don't even try on or look at seriously because they are 3/4.

yy, Downy - together with my skinny, wide shoulders and long arms, 3/4 length sleeves make me look like my jumper's shrunk!

I only like them in the summer, so they can sort of disguise my fat arms.

I agree though they are v annoying with a cardigan on top.

I love them, as it means I can still wear my cardi when I'm cooking/cleaning and not spend ages rolling my sleeves up and fishing them out of yuck. OTOH when i go out I change top for something that actually keeps me warm! DD hates them. Her regulation school blouses are 3/4 sleeve and she complains endlessly about them feeling odd inside her jumper and blazer. I guess it all depends on why you want to wear them. I'm not fussed about being fashionable so I only worry about two things - do I like it, is it practical.

I hate them. If I need to roll my sleeves up, I do. But the rest of the time I don't want to be pointlessly cold.

I do have them on a couple of dresses, but I often have to wear arm warmers with them.

I dont think they are too bad, although I (stupidly) bought a cardigan with 3/4 length sleeves. And you cant put anything over a cardi when you get cold!

I have short arms so 3/4 length sleeves often better for me. It ruins a look to have to turn the sleeves up at the cuff which I have been known to do. I hate that i can't wear longer sleeves under my 3/4 length sleeved summer macs though. Silly to have shorter sleeved coats or cardis

I hate them. I hate my arms and like them covered up.

hugoagogo that is the very worst example of unnecessary 3/4 sleeve-age that I have ever seen!

I love 3/4 length sleeves. I always roll my shirts up to the elbow. I end up pushing up long sleeved t-shirts. I can't stand anything on my wrists.

I like them as I ahv elong arms (being 6ft tall) and struggle to find any long sleeved tops that have sleeves long enough.
Also 3/4 length hide my bingo wings hide any bobbly bits!

I hate 3/4 sleeves - they look flattering on me but they are way too cold! 3/4 sleeve cardis are a waste of space. They are so common now I think it's an evil conspiracy on the part of clothing manufacturers to use less fabric.

As someone said further up - 3/4 sleeve is a deal-breaker for me.

I love them. I have a 3/4 sleeve jacket and wear elbow length knitted gloves under it.

As a taller woman, with stupidly long arms this is ace for me , I can buy normal jumpers and pass them off as 3/4 length.
