I like:

Remus for her chic black/grey capsule wardrobe and VW dresses.

Polyhymnia for her lovely accessories and use of animal print.

MarshaBrady for her all-round luxe-fabulousness

Hopefully for her colour and style savvy and her leather leggings!

I'm sure there are many more, but whose posts and links do you look out for?

OP posts:
cardoon · 09/01/2013 15:15

it would be leopard print

AmberNectarine · 09/01/2013 15:16

Awesome cross post.

haha deter - we know her so well!

cardoon · 09/01/2013 15:18

My x's are all used up in the posting Grin

libertychick · 09/01/2013 15:18

I watch out for all of the above - agree with Dona on Ambers role as early adopter - I was appalled when she first posted her wedge trainers and now starting to think they look ok on other people, I am the queen of the laggards and will probably decide they are acceptable for me to wear sometime mid 2015

My favourite thing in S&B is the honest but kindly given opinions.

DonaAna · 09/01/2013 15:23

Amber does that mean power dressing nineties or gray minimalism nineties (a period that imo should never be allowed come back - the summer never arrived for circa five consecutive years).

Careful with your response - I see a shoulder pad rampage coming on...

I have seen lots of good advice on the S&B boards, one name that stands out is Tethersend. She either has a great gift for searching, or spends 24/7 looking at clothes on the internet.

worldgonecrazy · 09/01/2013 15:33

Okay - I'm going to test my own Tethersend theory.

I have a "friend" who is 5'3 and a bit, wide hipped and not much waist, fat thighs but great calves and ankles, flabby belly which won't shift. Big boobs which droop a bit. She needs a dress for a friend's wedding in August and needs to look absolutely fabulous. The only person allowed to look more fabulous is the bride. Can you help her please?

AmberNectarine · 09/01/2013 15:35

It means bodycon ribbed 90s Dona

Offending item here

AmberNectarine · 09/01/2013 15:55

Aw thanks Amber right back at ya!

I love loads for being first and rocking it, elegantly chic, fabulous lifestyle, yada yada

If I listed it all would sound like awards night.

DonaAna · 09/01/2013 16:20

Ouch, I had forgotten PTSD induced amnesia that period. Further style inspiration for Amber, from the same epoch.
Don't forget the boots that will really make the outfit Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/01/2013 18:15

Aww thank you, Amber. :) (I only have one VW dress but I do have several skirts and tops!).

I love Tethers, for her useful links and at times bonkers obsessions with peeptoes and 70s prints.

And Cod in all her reincarnations.

And whoever it was who has the capsule wardrobe of about 11 items, including orange things - is it Marsha?

And MrsCB because we share a yearning to actually dress like Victorian governesses at times.

And basically everybody on S&B - I don't always agree with people but this is my very favourite bit of MN with the very best people on it!

I love 99% of the dresses tethers links to.

planestrainsautomobiles · 09/01/2013 18:47

I use to post a bit but still look for links ..... my favourite is MrsCB (we're similar size so always like her links). Also Bonsoir for the French fashion.

AmberNectarine · 09/01/2013 18:56

Dona way ahead of you, I bought my OTKs in 2011. That or I might dig out my snakeskin Buffalo platform trainers (oh yes), I think they'll be bang on trend this season! Or I have a pair of holographic platform sandals from the era.

Of course, I shouldn't be redoing the 90s as I did them first time around - isn't that the rule? Too old in my 20s, sad.

OP posts:
AmberNectarine · 09/01/2013 18:58

Of course,Bonsoir! Easy Living did the school runway in Paris. All the mothers worked for Conde Nast and were clad in Balenciaga. I half expected to see Bonsoir.
