I am going for 15h

theoriginalandbestrookie · 16/12/2012 20:32

Yawn, not worth paying the postage on - I'm going with quiteoldgal and waiting until it moves to clearance before having a proper look

GeorginaWorsley · 16/12/2012 20:53

First time ever I have not ordered anything.
Recent promotions better value imo, plus nothing I am tempted by

LynetteScavo · 16/12/2012 20:55

No, I've also bought nothing.

I love a sale. I will buy any old crap if it's 50% off. This has not thrilled me.

And believe me, there are some items which really should be 70% off.

Northernlurker · 16/12/2012 21:01

Lynette I agree. Very poor reductions on some things.

Poly - I got the sort of purple, burgundy one. I'm tempted by the navy but the spots put me off a bit.

Northernlurker · 16/12/2012 21:06

Take the rainy day mac - all the decent patterns are sold out leaving the floral sofa jobs which haven't even got 50% off. Johnny - you have stock of every size! You need to go large on this one to shift it because they're ugly!

HappyTurquoise · 16/12/2012 21:12

Thanks to the threads about Boden on here, I've ordered several dresses and a jacket. I've been waiting years to be slim enough to look good in a dress, and it's a small window of opportunity before I'll feel too old to be wearing some of these, so I am going for it! Grin (There's never anything in my size when the clearance sales are on. Funny that.)

MariahScarey · 16/12/2012 21:41

Was going to get Skye jumper but too much. Pkus postage

Northernlurker · 16/12/2012 21:46

More moaning about reductions Grin

I've been looking at these boots. The reviews aren't great and there is plenty of stock of nearly all sizes. On Friday I think you could have had 25% off. No in the 'sale' it's less than 20%. Bit feeble.

theoriginalandbestrookie · 16/12/2012 22:42

Mariah I got the skye jumper at the last reductions, didn't like it in real life. Too much even with 55% off

RarelyUnreasonable · 16/12/2012 22:50

I bought a jacket and 2 jumpers last week. They are now more expensive despite being in the sale Hmm. Really not impressed.

Dinnerdinnerdinnerbatman · 16/12/2012 22:57

I've ordered a few bits, mostly miniboden.

Hopefully I'll keep it all, but if not, does anyone know if I can use 'return postage paid' stickers that I've kept from previous orders? Seems a shame not to use them if I need to!

Got the children coats for next year @ £20 each.
They are durable and weatherproof.

A pair of cargos for boy and a cardi for girl to unwrap.

Love their boys stuff.

CointreauVersial · 17/12/2012 00:23

Unimpressed.

They used to have a click-box where you could select your size, and it would grey out anything that had sold out in your size - where's that gone? I spent hours sifting through every single item, but any time I spotted something nice and clicked through, it wasn't available in a 10.

I got bored and gave up in the end. A lot of the stuff was still too pricy.

daisydoodoo · 17/12/2012 10:23

i ordered dd1 some bits from the johnnie b section that are reduced properly, that i would not have brought at full price. I was going to get them on he double discount deal but they stopped it before i could order for the third time.

ive got some free returns labels so will use those should i need to return them.

Heavywheezing · 17/12/2012 11:54

Dinnerdinner, you can use the return postage labels, if you need to.

I bought the things I wanted to earlier in the season or when they had 40% off earlier.
Disappointing.

Northernlurker · 17/12/2012 12:31

My parcel has arrived - leggings fine, top ok (already had it in another colour), padded coat for dd3 - LOVELY, really warm feeling. Lottie tunic for me..........well it fitted ok but the ribbon trim is not as pretty as I'd hoped and finished at a really awkward place. Bit to close to the boobs - not a collar more a bib......also it's handwash only and frankly it just wasn't pretty enough. Might work better on a taller person with flatter chest than me who doesn't mind handwashing.

Northernlurker · 17/12/2012 12:33

I have ordered the charcoal emma tunic instead. Should have done that yesterday! I already have that in two patterns and like it.

newpup · 17/12/2012 13:19

I bought pink skinny jeans for DD1 and pjs for DD2. I looked at a dress for me but was put off by the reviews which all complained about a poor fit. I was unsure if I needed a size 12 or 14 and could not face the hassle of returning etc over xmas so did not buy. I had no problems with the site though very efficient and items despatched this morning!

WildThongonthesparklytree · 17/12/2012 13:21

I've ordered two pairs of leggings, I hope they live up to their reviews,

higgle · 17/12/2012 13:41

I have had a nice bargain as a result of the Boden sale. Nearly bought my Christmas dress in Joules last Saturday. £69.99 and only one in a 12. After agonising I thought I'd wait and see if I could get a bargain in the Boden sale, but as half expected the reductions were crap and the dress I wanted was sold out in my size. Back to Joules this morning, got the dress there for £44 in their sale. Result.

Asinine · 17/12/2012 13:51

I just got back from a charity shop trawl, a pair of lovely dark boden denim jeans as new, and a pair of boden cropped jeans in a lovely neutral mushroom, all for £10. (I set out to buy fat face jeans full price but was between sizes.) And some fantastic books for the dcs which I will wrap up from the dog.

flowerytaleofNewYork · 17/12/2012 13:56

Well I've ordered bargainous coats and t-shirts for the DC, a bargainous dress, jumper, bag and trousers for me, plus a very bargainous coat for DH.

Overall my basket was less than half original price, some things not quite half price but some things more than 50% off, so I'm pleased. Xmas Smile

I did check some things I have bought for my niece and they are reduced but still more expensive than I paid with a code, so that's a bit rubbish but also a relief!

cathers · 17/12/2012 13:58

Disappointing- bought a winter coat for the ds but otherwise pretty dull discounts.

polyhymnia · 17/12/2012 15:14

northernlurker that was the colour of the Lottie tunic I was planning to get - but perhaps I won't in the light of what you say about the ribbon bits.

On other hand, I might just try it - specially if it gets further reduced. I'm tall, though certainly not flat-chested! And I'd be prepared to have it cleaned and use for best if I really liked it.

Presumably the basic berry colour was OK?

Dinnerdinnerdinnerbatman · 17/12/2012 16:55

Thanks heavywheezing
