i have an interview for a PGCE place. Normally for an interview I would just go for smart trousers and top. But i think i need a suit don't i?

Im so clueless, and dont have much time for clueless shopping.

I hate suits..am thinking a skirt suit might be nice? with long boots? I dont wear heels, or dainty shoes. I feel self conscious of being 1.5 stone over weight-tummy is problem area mostly. Have heavy thighs and ample bottom so dont want short skirt or pencil skirt.

Black isnt good on me

what else? dont know...please help

oh...im skint but dont want to look cheap! could get something off ebay if I knew what to look for!!

ok Confused Blush

I'm a bit embarrased to be back. After all your good advice, I bought...this;

east dress

John Lewis didnt have any Kaliko stuff. I liked some Planet dresses but all sleeveless. I feel much happier in sleeves! I am going to work my self up to those dresses; really lovely. But just felt too lovely, if that makes sense Confused

I also went to look at the tescos dress that quickquick linked to; the bird print had sold out but i got this;

tesco dress

and i might get this;
blazer

(whats the difference between a 'ponte' blazer and a 'structured' blazer?)

thank you all so much Thanks If I fail the interview, I will definitely buy a Planet/Phase 8/ Kaliko dress for the next one Smile

takataka that dress is perfect because it will make you stand out but in a good way and will be great for the classroom as well, but make sure you have a black vest top underneath for teaching in. Norkage always shows more than you think in a classroom situation. I like the Tesco dress too. Good luck with the interview.

Good luck with the interview takataka I really like that Tesco dress. No idea what the difference is between the blazer types - you need someone more trendy than I for that Xmas Grin
