They don't make you wacky or cute. Just odd.

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/11/2012 17:30

I agree - I don't even like 'colourful' tights

ThatVikRinA22 · 20/11/2012 17:35

what are they? i like coloured tights - i have a khaki jumper dress which i wear with orange tights and brown knee length boots, a grey jumper dress with red tights and black boots, and a cream jumper dress with brown tights and brown boots....

i like coloured tights alot! but what are feature tights?

noddyholder · 20/11/2012 17:40

I love my coloured tights.Have dark orange pair that I wear with a v short paisley jumper dress and I am not giving those up

CharlotteBronteSaurus · 20/11/2012 17:42

i am wearing purple tights today.
really like them with a plain shift dress and boots

nilbyname · 20/11/2012 17:43

Muted hues for your tights, yes.
Feature tights, on a par with novelty ties.

noddyholder · 20/11/2012 17:44

these look good i think

Freshbloodletticia · 20/11/2012 17:49

If you are a tall, beautiful sixth former like DD1, DS's girlfriend and what seems like all their friends then Yes,
If you are a fat curvy, short middle-aged blonde like me then it's a NOOOOOO!

PoshPaula · 20/11/2012 17:50

I love coloured tights, and patterned or lacy - they are a change from black opaques and it's great that women can be nice and free with what they wear. The less rules there are, the better I think, when it comes to clothing.

ThatVikRinA22 · 20/11/2012 18:02

well ive tried googling feature tights and im still none the wiser.

MrsHelsBels74 · 20/11/2012 18:04

Do you mean ones with a design feature such as a back seam, little motif (such as a bow or suchlike) or do you include an overall pattern (including fishnets)?

HellothisisJoanie · 20/11/2012 21:45

ribbed are boring and a bit old lady for me.

i have some amazing tights from M&S with roses interweaved into the pattern, i have loads of coloured ones, i cant see how wearing them makes me odd.

im not trying to be cute or wacky either. god forbid.

picnicbasketcase · 20/11/2012 21:48

I like both coloured and patterned tights but I'm not very fashionable so I don't suppose it matters much.

noddyholder · 20/11/2012 21:49

I am never stopping fish nets FORGET IT

Whatevertheweather · 20/11/2012 21:51

I love my cable knit type thick coloured tights - for about 2 seconds before they all start twisting round so the pattern isn't straight and I spend the whole sodding day pulling them straight again.

BluelightsAndSirens · 20/11/2012 21:57

I love my coloured tights, apparently you can tell the mood I'm in by what colour tights I arrive to work in (purple tights = stay away from my door - I have no idea if this is true or not as its not intentional)

I have a lovely pair of burnt orange ones on right now with a plain shift dress.

Feature tights make me imagine the London eye on one leg and tower bridge on the other.

I am anything but cute or wacky.

Caerlaverock · 20/11/2012 21:58

runs into the street to burning all tights

Caerlaverock · 20/11/2012 21:59

I do love a brigHt tight but then I have the legs for it

Whatevertheweather · 20/11/2012 22:01

feature tights? If so, no.

Celticlassie · 20/11/2012 22:03

ThatVikRinA22 · 20/11/2012 22:05
