Can anyone recommend a hand cream, preferable cheap good value and one that does the job. I wash my hands regularly, unlike 38% of women apparently Shock but this leaves me with dry flaky nails and hands that resemble a 90 year old. Is there one you can't live without? If so, please share Grin. I'm going to treat myself to a full-on hand pamper later!

Vaseline Intensive Rescue. And Lansinoh, I've discovered this week!

Agree with wintera the soap & glory one is great- I keep it beside my kitchen sink. Bought it when I had dd as I was washing my hands so much more with a newborn they looked dry & awful in no time. People always ask for a bit of my hand cream when they see it in the kitchen & say how lovely that one is.

I use a glitter top coat on dark nail polish on my toes and I'm mid-30s so I would think you can get away with glitter. I will be for a few years yet Not a big fan of nail art on anyone, sorry, but I would say go for it if you want to and either go for <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?num=10&hl=en&biw=1317&bih=657&tbm=isch&tbnid=9vjtU04PGXVN0M:&imgrefurl=www.nomasla.net/site/posts.asp%3Fin%3DNail%2BArt&docid=HRYN4M7YXzeAGM&imgurl=www.nomasla.net/data/life-style/img/flower-nail-art.jpg&w=600&h=444&ei=6eh_UOHfBZKZhQer1oGwCg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=561&vpy=286&dur=329&hovh=193&hovw=261&tx=149&ty=124&sig=114401466580596777519&page=2&tbnh=147&tbnw=196&start=18&ndsp=22&ved=1t:429,r:13,s:18,i:240" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">very subtle and tasteful, or <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?num=10&hl=en&biw=1317&bih=657&tbm=isch&tbnid=qmDqdJ3EeTql6M:&imgrefurl=bridalsmehendi.com/nail-art/&docid=0rNKgzQCOISVtM&imgurl=bridalsmehendi.com/wp-content/gallery/nail-art/long-nails-9.jpg&w=300&h=300&ei=6eh_UOHfBZKZhQer1oGwCg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=337&vpy=306&dur=1057&hovh=225&hovw=225&tx=128&ty=129&sig=114401466580596777519&page=4&tbnh=146&tbnw=146&start=62&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:62,i:344" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">downright out there but leave anything in between.

No liquid soaps
Use dermol or similar after every hand wash
Slather with any thick clingy cream overnight.
