and most definitely not acrylic which rules out 90% of the high street I've seen so far.

Anyone seen any nice wool or cashmere ones please?

Ooh, sounds lovely. I'll have two please Smile

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/10/2012 18:38

I need some kindly Shetland granny to knit me one I think. I mean I've seen ones for £50 that are acrylic - I mean seriously!

Me too! Am fed up with all the patterned tat in the shops!Suddenly look very dated. There is a gorgeous one on mango website with matching hat but acrylic! If you find one give me a shout Smile

I got a gorgeous cream/latte colour wool cable scarf from Ted Baker last year - might be worth a look incase they're doing something similar this a/w.

Learn to knit, it's the only solution Grin

I am planning on knitting another big chunky scarf this year. Last year I knitted a coral cashmere snood and navy wrist warmers.

noddyholder · 12/10/2012 18:47

like but prefer cable

QueenBeebread · 12/10/2012 18:47

Pure Collection

QueenBeebread · 12/10/2012 18:49

The Heather Stone colour is closer to cream in this Pure one.

MaureenCognito · 12/10/2012 18:50

Keep your eye on gap like a hawk. Their scarves rock. Also kew used to have one just like you want bit in grey from last year. So maybe jigsaw.

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/10/2012 18:51

I think it is Hopefully! MIL can knit - hmmmm hatches plan.

Millie - will check out Ted Baker and Noddy will let you know if I find one.

The nearest one is this Donegal snood from Celtic Sheepskin but think its too beige.

Noddy - I'm also a bit fed up with patterned scarves.
